I don't know, I just found it. I agree, it does look real though.
I bet TBC have so much cool stuff that we have never seen that they may think no one would like. I wish we could have an 'inside man' to get us all the stuff :bubs:

Basically this toon is an easter egg in the Macromedia (the makers of Flash) program Central. It looks like Macromedia commissioned TBC to create it, or maybe the developers just asked nicely and stuck it in there.

Interesting. This should probably be Wiki'd. But it needs a good title first, 'cause we don't want a page called "Homestar twinkie phone".

This is a political cartoon, if you can pick up on it.
Note the references to Massachusetts and Senator pencil face. (Kerry has a skinny face.)

Maybe.. but what message are they delivering? I don't get any sort of punchline.

Did you actually download and install Central, or have you just been surfing the website? I think you have to click "help" WITHIN the Central application. I haven't downloaded Central myself.. now that I've seen the easter egg, I don't see the need to get the app.

I doubt that it's a political cartoon. It seems rather unlike TBC to do something like that. Besides, we don't even know for sure when the cartoon was made.

Wow! Macromedia's Central is amazing! But, I don't see how this 'toon has to do with it. I can't download the 'toon as an application ("XML information missing" is what it says).
