Awesome, I get to create the page and the board topic. This is the best email ever.

Or not. But it's still pretty good.

Wiki link.

Average for their standards, but still a great email. I really like the Cheese Sandwich part.

That was pretty good. By no means the best, but it was indeed good.
7/10.

Eh, it was decent. I laughed at the "Due time" thing, mainly because of the look on Strong Bad's face. Classic.

I loved this one!

The slideshow was almost all funny, I liked Item 3b: Grilled Cheese Sandwich, and Strap's reaction to "give him everything we got"...
Plus the mutilation o the twins paradox.

The hot 60's-looking girls were meh though.

57/62, be glad I don't buy into that pointless scoring-with-smileys craze.

Plus I got to do almost all the transcript, for the first time (which has no bearing on how much I loved the email. Really. Nofoolin')

I gotta get me a new avatar/banner... what to use...

Wait, waitwaitwaitwaitWAIT. You can change usernames on this board? That's way cooler than the other boards! (Stupid only-one-name-per-person-enforcing weasls[sic]...)

[The above is to be read in Strong Bad's voice for maximum effect.]

Very funny episode. Highlights included the Space Captainface name, the Space Captainface theme, the King of Town's "I'm in my 60's!" and the Cheese Toasties over the Easter Egg. Seriously. Laughing out loud.

[Also to be read in Strong Bad's voice. I'm good at this.]

I didn't know until I tried it just a little while ago.

HAHA!!! That was great!
I loved the whole "Flat-tops and shirt sleeves are the order of the day at SBASAF mission control. Why, Flight Engineer Ted Averill! You aren't smoking a smooth relaxing cigarette at all! {beep}"
That was hillarious. Not exactly appropriate for kids (since we all know kids smoke when they see cartoon characters smoke /sarcasm), but definately funny.
Watch some film from the Apollo missions if you don't get that smoking ref. Tobacco and buzzcuts put us on the moon.

Unfortunately, there wasn't as much Strong Mad as I thought there would be.
Oh well, can't have it all.
It wasn't quite your normal Strong Bad Email, but it was funny to me, none the less.
8/10

Well, at the very least I don't want to see the :kot:

Not really feeling it this E-mail. It wasn't bad by any means, and it did have some funny moments ("I'm in my 60's!", Hamburger vs Ghost video game, the song at the end), and the Joe Satriani reference was much appreciated, but overall, most of the jokes kinda fell flat and it somewhat rambled. Somewheres in the B-/C+ range.

It's a shame edits and new registrations have been shut off... I have a trivia fact for this email.

The original email was cut short for brevity, it follows:

Dear Strongbad,

Does Strongbadia have a space program? Certainly your terrestrial resources will be depleted at some point: What plans do you have for emergency migration to other worlds?

Crapfully DooDooCrap,

Ryan

Interesting. Do we know if they've ever cut an e-mail short before?

I really don't think TBC do that. Do you have any proof you sent it?

Pretty good. Could have been better, but nice to see a new SB email anyway.

I don't see why they wouldn't do it, honestly. I mean, brevity is the soul of wit, right? And while it's a fine-looking e-mail, cutting it allows them to get to the funny bits sooner while still maintaining the spirit of the e-mail...well...roughly maintaining the spirit of the e-mail in this case.

Also, it was a fairly good e-mail today. It didn't steal my crown and call it Lotionman, but I feel like a better person for having watched it. Six and a half out of ten, ish.

Well, the factoid still isn't going onto the wiki unless Ryansturmer can come up with proof.

TBC have admitted that they often come up with an idea, then search for a corrisponding email. Perhaps in this case they came up with the idea, and the only email on the subject this week was a bit long winded for their reply. Definently interesting though, this is the first I've ever heard of TBC cropping. Are you sure you sent the extended version? Did you perhaps send a base one a bit prior or post the sendage of the extended one?

(In side topic, did anybody else notice the lack of nebulon?

Ya, he would have been a good addition. I'd like to hear "No-one likes your style!" again.

Oh, of course. I certainly wasn't intending to argue that it shouldn't be that way...it's all that makes sense!

I thought it was ok. Nothing too spectacular about it though. Just seemed like a bunch of kids playing spaceman in their backyard.

Eh. It was okay. I mean, I've seen better, but I'=ve also seen worse. I really liked their plan to send $15 bucks into orbit. Quallity funnyness. The sound fx cd was good too.

Ugh. I didn't think this email was good at all.

Rock Opera was better than this.

1.5/5.

You guys just aren't Trekkies, so you can't appreciate the awesomity of this particular email

well, ok... it wasn't my favorite... the slideshow was boring... but all the other stuff was fun. I love when Homestar comes in trying to get a sweater on.

Ah, the memories this brought back... I used to play spaceship with my sisters and sit in cardboard boxes, and my parents were always the evil mutant aliens... but if I ever threw anything at them my butt woulda been hurting, so I just shot at them with toilet paper tube phasers.

:hr: You guys! You guys! I need help putting on this sweater!

LOL

Oh cwap, I was totally gonna do a "Homestartrek" toon for my next flash project! Agh, now everyone will think I got the idea from this email. Ah well.

The grilled cheese sandwich & Homestar scenes cracked me up. I also like the Space Captainface theme. 9/10

Oh hrrrm, I don't know how you prove you sent an email, it's all digital (and subject to forgery!) after all...

Though I can copy the original full text of the email with headers from my gmail...

It was my friend/co-worker Dan who was shown in front of our 'faceless depressing office park' last week as well... it seems we are on a roll!
