Hey, this was an interesting one. If you click on SB's glasses at the end, you can download the "Today is Alright 4 2 Nite" song... except the link is broken. Here is the correct link.

Three words for this cartoon: "HAR!", "HAR!", and lastly, "HAR!"

Seriously, I didn't think they would actually do the jokes from Dangeresque 2 better, but I turned out to be wrong-o! It had all the laffs of the original, plus many more things. "ISTANBUL? Of course...." And the wire-frame attack. And the fact that the KoT is perhaps the best actor of the lot of them. I also liked the similarity between that and Lethal Weapon. Why are detectives always partnered with someone that they really hate until the very end of the movie?

All in all, this goes up on Strong Lad's official wall of Fame!

Awesome email. Is it just me or does Coach Z's voice seem different from usual, especially toward the beginning? Anyway, the "car phone" was great, and I loved The Cheat as Istanbul. Great song at the end too. This also puts a spin on the question as to whether Strong Bad owns/drives a car. Anyone find any easter eggs besides the download?

Hahaha, and they are always so close to retirement.

This email was so satisfying. Excellent performances by all, and it gets funnier on each watching.

The comedic timing is so priceless! The editing that they must go through for such a small clip has to be extensive.

I want a pair of those yellow glasses. I'll add that to the wishlist.

Although not one of my favorites this is definitly a very good one. ;)

And I love Homestars Hurricane Kick.
Whats he saying before he does it though?

I'm guessing its an imitation of Ryu's hurricane kick yell, which I never could decipher either.

I put "the pipes are broken!" and that seems to have been accepted. ;)

Anyway, one of the greatest e-mails ever, I'd say. It puts the previous Dangeresque (also one of my favourites) to shame. Proof that TBC still rock.

obviously there are classics to live up to in the emails nowadays, and some of the other recent ones i have thought to be good, but not all that great. this one, however, was a VERY good email. no wonder they took an extra week on it, to make it so great! however, i am still demanding weekly emails, because i get pretty mad when there aren't.

Awexome to the max. Stunt Double was my favourite email, and now there's more... *drools* I especially liked the nonsensical plot. "Thanks for the serum, now I won't get kidnapped!"

I thought it was cool, but it didn't make me laugh out loud. So I guess I give it a 6 out of 10.

Sounds good to me... And heck.. 'the pipes are broken' is as good as an interpretation of what Ryu was supposed to say as any, as far as HR's attempt to mimick it goes.

I think the original is supposed to be something like Tatsumaki Senpuu Kyaku (And I'm pretty sure Senpuu has to do with whirlwinds and Kyaku is just a japanese-ification of the english word 'kick'.) But I know its been heard as 'Secure the fridge!', 'I expect some fruitcake.' and even 'I eat little boys' So the broken pipes one works for me.

Not that I could ever make any heads or tales out what Ryu was saying anyway... Just sounded to me like 'Hadlitzek Paloozic!' in the original game, and various similarly unintelligble things in any games after, including the ever intelligible 'Hadlekdlekdlekdlekdlek!'. Which all sounded like someone making up his own slavic language. So I just played Dhalsim instead.

Yogaaaaaaaa.

Mmm.. But anyway, even though this mail is not really in my top-five it has tons of nice touches.

Strong Bad using the VCR as a carphone.

The Cheat as Istanbul.

The way Homestar pronounced 'Perducci.'

Strong Sad's initial reaction to Homestar questioning him, and his subsequent stolen sandwich, which he didn't get back.

'Killing You Guy!'

The King of Town in a most unusual, and very amusing role.

Strong Bad's silly little song.

The skyscraper climb!

Well... maybe its not in my top five, but if its not in my top ten, its at least in my top-fifteen!

I think!

I think what probably happened that threw the updates out fo whack about now is that they wanted to make Dangeresque 3 but eventually they decided the 3-D was too hard. So they made this, which is hilarious. To me, it seems that no. 2 should be the first one and this should be the sequel, but that's because this is a spin-off. Besides who cares about making sense?

A lotta laughs! 8.5 out of 10!

The quote of Strong Bad's "Man, that guy is tall" comment on Killingyouguy is a repeat on Homestar's "Woah, this guy is tall" in The Pumpkin Carveneval episode.

Oh, and how come Strong Bad never answers emails from Australia? I am from Australia and I am mortally offended from that act of uncomradeship.... if that is a word

I really don't understand what you are getting at here, cyco. Are you saying that if a Strong Bad email is big, it would be in the Toons section and not the Strong Bad Email section?

I'm not really sure, since .swf files are measured in bytes and not tons.

Ok, I realized that there probably never WAS a Dangeresque 1, and they made that to cover up the fact. So... never mind my previous complaint.

Incidentally, does anyone have any good ideas as to why Bubs didn't play Perducci? He was the villain in Dangeresque 2...

Bubs wasn't Perducci in Dangeresque 1. Perducci is never mentioned.

To be honest, I don't get your point there. I know Bubs wasn't Perducci in Dangeresque 1, but I think it would have been more convenient if he had been, given that he's the villain in Dangeresque 2.

Convenient in the sense that they wouldn't have had to invent a new character, they could have just given Bubs' character a name. It would have been much neater somehow.

Most action movie sequels have different villians to face, to keep it interesting. You wouldn't want Batman to face Jack Nicholson over and over, would you?

Hey wait, maybe that's not so bad, hum? It would beat those last two movies. And anything starring Ben Affleck. Put together.

Yes, that's probably it. It's just that it seemed to me that the Dangeresque series should have a recurring villain.

Never mind. I'm rambling.
