Hey HW, you wrote this? I laughed when I read it- and I tried to send it to TBC, but I couldn't find the URL.

Yes, I did. Go to my site at http://www.geocities.com/hysterical_woman to download it. The link to download it is in my blog. The key is under the doormat. The password is "googleplex".

I don't know why TBC rejected the JJC. If it weren't for the part where Homestar had an emergency, it would be a really good toon! (And possibly still be on the site.)

What's wrong with the "emergency"?

It's too disgusting! I could handle when it happened in The Luau, but in JJC, Homestar was fat and everything. Ugh. :-|

I mean, come on! What about the Poopsmith? He shovels poop, which I would think is grosser than urine, but whatever... :goblin:

Well said, that goblin. You might as well say "if it wasn't for that Poopsmith, this would be a really great website!"

The urine scene still seems too close for comfort, you know. Sure, it's not the only potty joke, but it seems too...icky. Ugh...

Dude, guys; it's not about content, it's about how it's done. Yes, the P-smith is about poop, but we never actually see somebody sitting on the john, um, "producing" it. Even seeing HR with his back to us "doing something" is one thing; seeing the deed itself with nought but a strategically placed 2-gallon glass jar in the way--and subsequently seeing the abovementioned jar carried off full of yellow liquid... completely different.

That said, I want to offer the only really adequate response to "Why is _______ (JJC, M'sLS, the old Characters page, the Kick the Cheat game, etc.) off the site?" The answer is I DON'T KNOW. It was taken off by TBC, and that means that they had some reason for it. I'd rather not be hasty to second guess them; I'm certainly not saying they censored themselves; that doesn't seem to be their style. Nor do I want to place bets on whether they'll make a DVD edition. Maybe they just got tired of it, or wanted to keep the site fresh. The site's job isn't to preserve every shred of HR-related stuff that's ever created--that's ours!!

My only idea is that they are changing it to a DVD version like The King of Town and In Search of the Yello Dello, and its taking them forever.

I'd like to see TBC make The Jumping Jack Contest and Marshmallow's Last Stand into DVD's, but I'll live if they don't. We can still view the numerous mirrors that are floating around the Internet.

Maybe they're giving them to us as Decemberween Gifts? Or... maybe they'll be on the DVD (the real one coming out). You never know!

When is the real DVD coming out anyways? It was scheduled for August, but I haven't really heard anything about it.

They're probably releasing it in time for the holidays.

Woah, my HomestarRunnerWiki Forum post count is the same as that of Homestar Rules! I joined there over a year ago, but I only joined here in July!

I L-O-V-E-D it! It's not as boring as Marshmallow's Last Stand which was kind of funny at it's respective place but not at the wrestling match.
I liked this one when Strong Sad dropped out at two jumping jacks. Okay, I'd be able to do more than two, but that's pretty much me. Not athletic in the least. (SSS: {Strong Sad Similarity})
Bubs getting lured away by CUSTOMERS is hilarious.
Pom-Pom, is so cool when Homestar's being well... Homestar, and his eyes make him look like he's thinking what a moron! Why am I HIS friend anyway? Why can't I have intelligent friends.

Well like the E-mail FAQ says, they'll be back up one day. Supposedly.
Eh....I once did 1,000 jumping jacks. It literally took just over 15 minutes. At that rate you'd have do almost 300,000 in 3 days!
Looks like Pom-Pom was gonna win no matter how hard Strong Bad tried to cheat. Pom-Pom wasn't even tired, and he does them so slow, just cruising and hanging in the air like that. He could outlast SB, the Cheat, and SM even if they took turns. You gotta love how fast Strong Mad does his jacks though :)
