Senor Cardgage is on the rise! :)

Yeah, I was wondering about that too. I suppose we'll never see the REAL Senor Cardgage.

No, that is the real Senor Cardgage. He just happens to look exactly like CCSB.

I liked the robot. What was up with him?

Anywhere else?

Thank you LV, I was trying to remember where else that robot was from - he also "voip"ed one of the tgs girls in one of their cartoons.

I loved this toon, especially the ridiculously long phone number at the end!

The visor robot is originally from Homestarloween Party... the robot with a human brain who fell on his children

The robot now speaks with a voice like Strawberry Clock. Good stuff!

I really like the Cardgage guy, as there are so many people he reminds me of in real life. The whole senner Cardgage's Mort-gages thing was, on average, a pretty good cartoon. Hope we see more of that mumbly Joe in the future!

It might be because I am Dutch, and it might be because my brain automatically blocks out commercials unless I spend an effort to look at them. (And guess how often I do that!)

But if its based on a commercial then not one I know off. Either way, I honestly don't care for this short.

I mean, its not like its overwhelmingly bad, but too me it wasn't really good either. I dunno, to much inside humour (before you ask, yeah I know where Senor Cardgage is from), based on something I have never seen apperently, and I wasn't really pining for the return of Cardgage, but whatever.

Also, is it just me or does that litte 'not approved' guy looks completely off for anything related to H*R? He doesn't look like one of The Cheats creations either... But thats a nitpick I guess.

All in all, I'd rate this with the first Puppet Jam along the toons I just don't care for much.

Because of the current economy, the U.S. is absolutely engrossed in mortgaging, refinancing, debt consolidation, and so on. I'm sorry you don't "get" the toon.

This was definitely intentional. My theory is that the Balding Guy is supposed to be a "cartoon" (in the sense that Sr. Cardgage is "real"). I think this is supported by the fact that the Balding Guy is drawn in a very similar style to the Cheat Commandos cartoons.

It was OK

I didn't laugh as much as I would with the Strong Bad e-mails, but this was funny.

I especially liked that jingle at the end of the ad, the extremely long number, and of course the "NO CANCELTATIONS" and "Not A Robot!" That was good. What was funny, is that just like some of the real people who sell mortgages, Senor didn't know anything about it, let alone selling the product.

Have your fun with my name, rottweiler. You'll see who has the last laugh.

Um...I guess that would be you. I can't think of anything clever to go with 'the doggy.'

Remember Strong Bad said he'd go look up Senor Cardgage to find out what happened to him?

I think this ad for Senor Cardgade Mortage is the result of SB's search.

This was a great cartoon, and it clears up what I always thought made more sense: CREEPY COMB-OVER STRONG BAD IS SENOR CARDGAGE! Anyway, I know plenty of people like the Senor (not me, of course.. NOT ME!) so its good to see I'm not alone! TBC must know a few too!

Senor Cardgage is not CCOSB. Senor Cardgage is a real character who used to live near the brothers Strong when they were little. He has his own mortgage company. CCOSB is a hypothetical character dreamt up by Strong Bad, who looks and behaves exactly like Senor Cardgage.

Oh, and the Visor Robot is not the Robot from the original Children's book.

Although I love Senor Cardgage (I once had the AIM sn Senor Cardgage... until it was stolen), I never found this toon particularly funny. I dunno, maybe it's just me. It could grow on me though... I mean, I hated sbemail monument too, but I love that one now.
