Well I like how they did this. Prevents the whole 'OMG! Where is the email?!?!?!111one' thing. And I can't get enough of Strong Sad so.. yay. :)

"That doesn't really represent anything... I just wanted to pour coffee on Coach Z."

XD

Yeah, for a quick little filler thing, it was pretty cute :D I liked Homestar's Snifit mask. Caaause Snifits are cool. Not to mention this pretty much confirms that #150 is gonna be something really special.

...I kinda wanna see Strong Sad's movie idea. ^_^; Maybe incorporate it into the 150th email somehow, like as an easter egg... or maybe it could be this years April Fools joke somehow.

Bah! One more week!
Good to see that the Chaps are planning something out and taking thier time on this one.
Cool short though. I liked Stong Mad's line, "DON'T BOTHER!"

An optimist would say "ah, they must be working on something really special."

A pessimist would say "ah, they must have no freakin' idea what they're going to do for the one hundred and fiftieth e-mail."

Personally, I'm cheering for Tape-Leg II.

Also, this toon was pretty good. Strong Sad was in vintage Strong Sad form, which meant I simultaneously wanted to punch him in the face and give him a warm hug. 6.9/10.

Mmm... Pertlutwings! :coachz: Sweeter filler than the deliciously teeth-rotting center of a danish! For being pretty much the visual equivalent of a "blurb," that was quite enjoyable! And the Snifit mask was a treat. ^_^

I whole heartedly agree.

So, I give it a shameful 7/10.

This was great. I was pleased to see the plethora of inside references showing up again. I thought Strong Sad's storyboards were amusing. I was expecting them to push it off, but at least they didn't pull the same thing as with 100 and just put in filler and at least admit they were lazy. :P

Wow, this came so out of the blue, and yet, I should have expected it. It was interesting though to see Strong Sad so interested in the doings of his brothers. Kinda had that "aww" factor to some degree.

Gotta love the couch mumblings.

no, I don't feel like rating this/10

Well, now we know why Strong Sad doesn't hang around Coach Z. He'd pour coffee on him. Good filler, but I wanted an email.

If anyone remembers, South Park did that same thing. People sent hate mail to them and crap.

"OMG I AM NEVAR WACTHING UR FIEN SHOW AGIN11"

K so anyway the storyboard thing was funny. Was Homestar dressed up as the Shy Guy?

Like that nifty Photoshop blur effect too!

Ah yes. The "Who's Cartman's Father" episode.

The funny this is that people look back at that controversy nowadays and laugh. And it didn't hurt South Park's ratings at all. So if TBC pull that stunt, I'd probably take great amusement from the reactions.

I think it's safe to say that this is the worst thing I've ever seen (on Homestar Runner, anyway). Come on, Chaps!

I think it's safe to say that the cartoons they provide are free, and they are not obligated to make anything halfway decent.

I think it's safe to say that negative opinions are permitted, even to something free.

I think it's safe to say that you shouldn't pressure them to make something good because it's free.

I also think it's safe to say that we should stop using "I think it's safe to say's"

True, but on the other hand, TBC make bank from the store. So, I guess you could say they do kinda need to keep there fans happy if they want to continue to make money. BUT, I definitly don't believe that TBC are at all losing fan base. Like the old saying does, anticipation heightens the moment ;)

Strong Sad wants to pour hot coffee on Coach Z. He's taking a turn towards more violence!

2.5/5

I liked it, a great way to sort of 'delay' something. When they put extra work into a special feature (like email 50 and 100) it always comes out great.

Another great SNES reference too, i've loved all of the references so far, SB's mentioned many of my favorite SNES games.

The couch mumbling is definitely one of my favorite running gags, just 'cause I'm such a total Nintendo fangirl. :D He's already mentioned Actraiser and Chrono Trigger, two of my favorite SNES games EVER, I'm just waiting for him to make a reference to Earthbound or Super Metroid. :3

Well really liked it. It was Strong Sad at his finest, and the most we've seen of him in a while. And that's always great. I give it an A- for the coffee line alone.

Wouldn't it be great if the 150th email was the April Fools toon? And it'll make it look like he's quitting doing emails forever or something. [s]And the he goes back in time and stops email #1 from happening.[/s] The fans will go nuts.

Eh, it was pretty funny. We haven't really seen Strong sad being funny for awhile.

Hopefully there won't be another insanely long wait, like the one for email #100.
