I, too, thought of Purplemontage when I saw the email. On to buisness, though.

The email was definatly hilarious, and made up for the long lack of emails. What made it shine so much in my eyes is that it was so - different. I give it a 9.99/10.

Here's hoping that we'll get a download of Homestar singing. Plus, there's a LOT of things TBC remember and put in e-mails and things. For example, Dangeresque 3. (They probably never planned to make it in the first place.) And if they do, like it's been said, the fans won't allow them to forget.

Likely, the paper won't be replaced, but something will occur related to the incident.

I know that IJ doesn't want us to talk about the smoking, but I'm going to write this anyway. While there have been references to smoking before, this is probably the most direct and open portrayal of smoking. Since not just bored college students watch these cartoons, I think the Brothers Chap should avoid that. It may just be a culture thing, as they are from the South, in tobacco country. Admittedly, it also fit in with the character (an old-fashioned stressed-out salesman). In conclusion, The Cheat should get a bigger allowance, I mean, smoke off camera.

Did you notice we also have a set deathdate for the Paper? Email 173? Inkjet upgrade?

Well, I usually go by porplemontage. So, I guess I just thought I'd throw in the word "montage" in an email. That was the only reference. Was the montage in Team America similar?

Here is a link to the lyrics and music for the SP montage - http://www.spschat.com/RareMedia/Montage.htm

An if you would like to learn more about montages, check your local library... err... this link - http://www.movie-montage.com to read more about it!

I loved it. Catchy tunes, funny new characters, all n all a great email. As for the death of the paper, email 173 seems too far off to worry about.

Grats to purplemontage for getting your email answered. Then again, it's not like any of us have control over what gets answered, but I bet it feels good to get an answer in an email likely to be one of the greatest ever.

About the smoking (sorry to bring it up again), don't forget about Strong Bad's cigarette in the ashtray in the interview email. Also (I might be wrong about this one) I think I remember The Cheat with a cigar once...

Now this was a great email. The wagon full of pamcakes during the salesman scenes were absolutly hilarious. This is def a top 20 email. But don't ask me to actually name the top 20 emails.

Ps: Congrats Porps!

I think this e-mail goes on my top ten fav list. This one was wicked. And a wikian's email was answered too which makes it twice as wicked. But the best part of all was to see Homestar in....PANTS! That was awesome. Especially karate pants. ~_^

I hope this was only put on there by TBC to instate humor, and is not actually going to happen  (I'm crossing my pixelated fingers they're not too good at predicting the future with regards to when Strong Bad's dot matrix printer will crap out forcing him to upgrade to an inkjet.)

Hey montage, congrats on the e-mail. Now I can finally get an answer from someone that knows the answer to these questions:

How many different e-mails did you send to TBC before they picked yours?
and...
How long does it take TBC to read and reply to an e-mail?

Did you just send this last week? Two weeks ago? A month? An answer would be very helpful to all of us aspiring e-mail authors. How long should we wait until we resend ours? With your help, I know we can get more Wikiers picked!

Right. Anyway, I don't think it really matters how many emails you send them, as long as it's a good one. They're gonna pick by quality, not by how many are from the same guy. As for your other question, I sent it out on October 30th, so that's about 9 days ago. That was on a Saturday. They were probably checking their inbox to make an email for the following Monday, but didn't release it. Because otherwise by now it would have been completely buried by others. Oh, and for you guys who like to send one million of the same email, I only sent this one once. I sent it around 3:20 PM EST time, so they probably check it in the afternoon. Obviously I'm just assuming some of this stuff.

Anyhoo, great email all around. I cracked up at the love scene montage and the Punch-Out easter egg. This is the best email in a while. 9/10

The Wiki says that the 'Pamcakes' is a Hellboy referance, I don't get it.

Little help....

Pamcakes...that kills me... :hr:

HI-Oh-Hee! I think that's how you say that.

Anyways, this was a weird email. It was really funny, but weird. of course, most SB emails are weird ;)

The easter egg with Homestar singing in it was downright hilarious... and I liked Strong Bad's annoying voice.

By the way (this is completely off topic), but do you think that Strong Bad originally came from England? Think about it... He speaks in an "English" accent (I couldn't tell it was English) in the 1936 Homestar Runner cartoons, and he (for reasons unknown) doesn't like English people. Maybe I've beeen staring at the moniter for to long...

We've talked about The Strong Bad's ye olde accent before, and I think we concluded that it's more of a 1933 New Englander accent than it is a British accent. But I really wouldn't know.

Actually, it was some guy named Iggy Fenton. He died from being hit by a limozeen, but not before he got bitten by a taranchula, and stabbed by a bigg nife.
