Thank you, Captain Obvious. Aren't ALL players in professional soccer teams usually professional soccer players?

No. Country teams aren't professional teams - as in, they don't actually get paid for playing World Cup matches. Only clubs (like Man United) would have professional players.

World Cup: Iran v Mexico. A surprisingly entertaining game.

Yeesh, I'm getting into the World Cup more than I thought I would.

And I'll be sure to parody that in my fan-fic.

I was just watching the History Channel. It had a show called Conspiracey Files with something on the CIA and mindcontrol. Whatever.

I'm watching the computer. I'm afraid to look at my TV, but it's a Hallmark Channel original movie. I'm waiting for M*A*S*H to come on.

IROC, from Daytona. Neato stuff. I like seeing equally prepared cars. It let's you see who the better driver is.

This is GREAT!!! They're using every inch of the track on the road course, some of the grass, too!

In honor of the events in Florida, I'm watching this.

Unfortunately, it doesn't looks like the weather is gonna let them launch. They seem optimistic on NASA TV, but I still don't think they're gonna be able to get the launch off today. The rules regarding lightning are kinda strange, so I really have no clue why they're launching in Florida on a July afternoon. Oh well, they must have a reason.

edit: The weather officer just said "We are currently a no-go for thunderstorm anvils within 25 miles of launch site.... I don't hold a lot of hope for launch at this point"
See? Told you so!

edit 2, this time it's not edit 1: Well, they just scrubbed the launch for today :-(
