Wasn't there an interview where Strong Sad said that he didn't like Dj's because there's always a lot of dead air? Over all, this was a solid e-mail.

Found the interview. here It's near the bottom of the page.
Is it weird to quote yourself?

oh, man! So close! I came so close...

(before I continue let me say that I'm a complete newb to these forums so I don't know if the following statement is banned or something)

I sent in an email almost exactly like this one!! It was like
" Yo Strong Bad
I think you should do your own radio show
Sincerely, [My name]"
When I saw "radio" in the menu my eyes widened a bit, though I knew that statistically speaking, there was a tiny chance that it was based off of my email.

Oh well, at least I got close...

This one wasn't that funny, though I liked Marzipan's quote. "I hate public radio. I never got my tote bag." Strong Sad's radio voice was cool! And, that's all I have to say.

I laughed for so long after Strong Sad said his little bit there.

Love Strong Sad's radio voice. Loved The Sturge. (Is he the brother of Trogdor?)

I never have been a fan of the 1936 sections, though. I don't know why.

What, Marzi hate public radio? I'm...shocked. To say the least.

You know, the college radio station reminds me of the station at my college. You could only listen to it while you were on campus. (The coverage is that bad.) And the deejays were about the quality of those described in the email. Maybe a little more dead air. At any rate, I only listened to it a few times. Punko-ternative has never been my genre. :ehsteve:

As always, I like the emails. This one, in my opinion, was a little bit sub par, better toward the beginning than to the end. Or maybe becaue I don't listen to the radio much. When Strong Bad said that you gotta sound unlike you look and mentioned greyface:sad: I knew something weird was gonna happen, Strong Sad talking like that just cracked me up. Thought he was gonna sound more like Strong Bad actually. My question is, how did Strong Bad "make" Strong Sad talk like that??

Well sonicsuns, maybe your email was the one that made them start thinking ideas about the radio, and then ultimately pick the next one? You never know.

That was hilarious!

I loved it when Gron Sad started talking like that. I also liked the college radio...lol (pronounces it as it's written)

This was one of the funniest emails in a long time. I loved the Morning Crew. I'm not sure, but I think it was all the background laughter and the wacky sound effects that made "The fish was delish and...wait for it...it made quite a dish!" sound so funny.

The funny thing for me is that here we have a dj that actually does not look like he sounds. He sounds all tough and stuff on the radio, but in real life he's short and scrawny. That's why I found this one really funny.

I didn't like this e-mail much. It's like watching a puppet show by some comic who doesn't hide the fact he's speaking for his dummy.

I'll take bad analogies for 500, Alex.

Pretty nice email this week. The Chaps are up to their usual standard. Highlights were Strong Sad's DJ voice and the college radio.

Not a smart thing to talk back to a mod. It will get you booted.
Anyways, great email, the clincher was the Strong Sad/Strong Mad easter egg.

Insulting other users is also likely to get you "booted".

BACK ON TOPIC!No sriously, bmhg15, you need to take a deep breath and calm down...

Anydangway, I really liked this email. It's nice to see TBC doing something they haven't done before. Other cartoons (even on TV) are extremely repetitive by this point. My favorite parts were the whole Strong Sad thing and the Marzipan-Homestar reactions. Highball!

Okay, here are the good things, and a bad thing:
Good things:
-Strong Sad's unexpected radio host voice, especially when he said "Don't ever make me do that again!" after doing the radio host voice. Poor Strong Sad.
-The easter egg with Strong Mad and Strong Sad, similar to the email caffiene with Strong Mad saying "Did you just say parakeet?"
-We get to see Homestar's house again
-The quote "... five words: Dead air, um, dead air."

Bad thing:
-This email was a little confusing, with the cartoon going this way and that way and this way and that and this and that and   Jeez! Was I confused! Of course, this might not have happened with all of you.

BTW, congratulations Fraser, you are among one of those who had their email answered (like porplemontage, me, and maybe Jhonka)

I found it funny in the egg where Strong Sad and Strong Mad were talking about simple economics. Strong Mad talking about the economy? Doesn't get much better than that.

I sense a pattern here. Strong Sad with an alternate personality (caffeinated or radio host) makes Strong Mad confused...OK, so a lot of things make Strong Mad confused...nevermind.

The only thing i wondered while i watched the email was whether or not the whole 'The fish was delish, and it made quite a dish' qoute was reffering to a somewhat old tv series on fox called Ninja Turtles: The Next Mutation, if any one elase knows what im talking about, please lemme know asap, btw, i posted a comment about oit in the fun facts section of the radio email in hrwiki

Hello, good friends. Here I am, writing to you from my Language Arts class while everyone out is out skating somewhere and probably having a crappy time (I didn't get in trouble or anything, I just didn't feel like going). We're even watching MTV, and my teacher's right here! My friends say hi.

Anyways, the email. It was... okay. I liked the Strong Sad thing. And the tote bag. And the five words. That's about it. Those were the high points.
