Second week I started both the wiki article and forum thread :p

Pretty good. I loved how Strong Bad explained his pool, and the chemicals.

9.5/10

EDIT: Gah, stupid me, labeled it wrong. I need (another) vacation.

New sbemail out. I dunno, this one had a weird feel to it. There were some good gags though.

EDIT: Rogue Leader got the topic off before me, but labeld it wrong so I didn't bother to check the subject....So, uh...mods? Clean up on Aisle 6.

Umm...you got the title wrong, man.You might wanna change that. But anyway, this one was pretty good.I liked the part where he says,"We better go to the pool...that we've always had...!"And this is more of a story email than a concept email...although the story was pretty short...but still.

Funny parts:
*Marzipan's dissolving green hair
*:coachz: :hr: and :kot: about to be used as lighting rods
*Homestar flying in on Strong Bad
*The KoT making a Strong Sad sundae.

How many times has someone or something through the roof on Strong Bad's computer room? Don't forget Weatherman Strong Sad, TSI! That bit weirded me out, but I still laughed. Along with the Easter Egg!

Wow. This one totally has "new favorite" written aaaaall over it.

Highlights:

-Strong Sad's encyclopedic knowledge of the weather
-A pool? Where did THAT come from?
-The Cheat swimming and making motorboat sounds
-The Poopsmith's Nebulon floaty (and accompanying sound effect!)
-Graw Mad's ability to magical turn spherical! And the whole tidal wave that ensues.
-Somehow, I got laughing SO HARD when Homestar fell on Strong Bad.
-Easter Egg. Was. Brilliant. XD

I also like Marzipan's green hair, but mostly because of an amusing thing that happened to me as a kidlette. I was going to be the flower girl at my aunt's wedding, but I went swimming the week before, and my hair was SO GREEN. My parents tried DESPARATELY to change it back. :P

*The label "ds" on the Homestarrunner cutout probably stands for "Duck Shirt"

"Notice it doesn't also say 'take a crap in it.' So keep it that way." :P

I loved the Nebulon floatie, Marzipan's icky greenish hair that acted like a bomb fuse, and Strong Mad turning into a ball somehow. Heh. "No swimming.... although that rule isn't enforced very much."

It should've rang true for me especially because it's always so darned HOT where we live, but the heat really doesn't bother me that much...... and I usually spend all day in the house anyway.
I liked the references, especially where Strong Bad crashes through the ceiling again..... I think that makes the second time, the first being "pom pom", unless I'm mistaken......

No, it probably stands for "Dumpstar".

Well, Strongbad called him "Duck Shirt" in flashback. Where does he ever call him Dumpstar? :senor:

I don't know about this one. I think the sbemails were on a roll lately, but the only really funny thing about this one to me was Strong Sad (and his easter egg. :-|

I assumed "ds" stood for Dumbstar, but Duck Shirt makes more sense.

-Strong bad being a lifegaurd and his pool rules
-The cheat-motorboat
-Strong Sads weather knowlage
-Strong Mad turning spherical and causing a tidal wave
-Homestar droping in
-The egg

It might mean Dumpstar, I think he was called that once. But why would he be called Duck Shirt? He doesn't wear one anymore. Or now... Logic hurts...

pft logic? when has _anything_ followed logic in HRland :p
just seems like Duck Shirt is 2 words=d.s.
I could be wrong, its just the first thing I thought of when I saw it, and its the kind of thing SB would call HR
Dumpstar seems like one word to me.

If you want to talk logic, then if Dumpstar is ds then Homestarrunner would be HSR, but its always been HR.

I can't find a citation where anyone actually uses "Dumpstar" either? Where is that from?

This was okay. It was definitely better than the last one.

Parts I enjoyed:

- The "Pool Time, Pool Time" montage.
- When the characters were leaving the pool during the lightning storm.
- The easter egg with the KoT. Frightening!

Does anyone else think Homestar should have been the lifeguard?

I thought it was an okay e-mail. Not the best. Not the worst. It had a few good moments, Nebulon Poopsmith, No swimming, etc. I never laughed out loud though.

Well, SB called SS "Dumpface" ocne. I think that's what he was thinking of

It was an OK email. I'd give it a 6.5/10. I've realized I prefer emails that go to the Lappy more than just for starting and ending. Not sure why.

I'm sure SB called Homestar that once, but I'm not sure when. I might of gotten it mixed up with Strong Sad (Dumpy). I still don't think it would mean Duck Shirt though. (?)

Hmm, this email was pretty good, but too short in my opinion. I liked The Cheat's motorboatin', and the Poopsmith's Nebulon Floaty. Strong Mad's Cannonball was pretty cool too. I give it an 63%

Mmkay. This probably isn't one of my favourite emails. Although I thought the "No Butt-Patting" thing was funny. *Pets Coach Z* And Homestar falling on Strong Bad.

I also interpreted "DS" to stand for Dumbstar. I don't know why. Dx

This email is creepy, since the sender of the email's location is DUN DUN DUN DUN where I live (Sunnyvale, CA), but not under my alias.

Okay, some good points. Although I didn't really enjoy this email, I liked the sudden "Strongbadia is hot" explanation and the part where Marzipan's hair is fizzing out. I'll give this one a 7/10.

What?!?! I got robbed!!!! A while ago I sent an e-mail about going swimming, and just recently I sent one about the power outage and heat in St. Louis! (that's where I live, in case you wanted to know)

Ahh!! So, that kinda ruined it for me. I saw the title "keep cool" and it made me so happy- only to see that it was from my other friends without power.

Oh well, maybe next week, or the week after. Or the week after...

I enjoyed this. I liked the pool water following Strong Bad down. It seemed like a cool effect for some reason.

It was funny to see them mentioning something...current, too :P Marzipan's green hair was the best part, though. And I want a Nebulon floaty.

Solid e-mail yo. I love the "Welcome to our 'ool" bit, and Marzi's disappearing hair was great. Homestar falling through the roof caught me completely off guard.

This goes straight into my top 5 Emails. A whole lot of laughs, and finally people will stop calling Free Country USA, Strongbadia.

The king's gone mad with power! He's gonna eat Strong Sad! XD;

Yes, I can definitely relate to the poor folks in Cactus Area, it's pretty darn hot over here in Wolksvagen (er, West Virginia) too. Pretty good email, overall! Maybe a bit short, but it was nice and... summery, for lack of a better word, and had enough funny moments to keep me chuckling through the whole thing:

- Strong Sad reporting the weather, and the reference to his head looking like ice cream (because... it does, haha)
- "Notice there is no 'take a crap in it' in it."
- Nebulon floatie!
- The Cheat as a motorboat
- The whole lightning storm bit
- Marzipan's hair on fire
- Strong Mad jumping into the pool, and he makes this tiny little splash, and THEN the big tidal wave comes XD
- Homestar falling out of NOWHERE at the end. "Aaah... breaky-spiney"

For the record, I thought DS = Duck Shirt, too. So nyaaah. :P
