Well, the messenger bags are finally on sale, and I'm thinking of picking one up finally...

However, I was going to ask anyone here that if they have one, could they snap a few pics? I'm curious as to their actual appearance, inside and out.

Totally planning on picking one up with :cheat: on it.

Sounds like a project for Kate!

Image

Kinda hard to get pictures of the inside... I've got terrible lighting in here. It's not that big, but it holds a few books or a laptop if need be...

Image

No special fancy pockets or anything inside, unfortunately. Makes digging around in there for a pencil a pain in the butt, which is why I rarely use it anymore.

Image

There's the outside. I've had it for a while, and it's still looking good.

Image

The best picture I could get with me wearing it... hello, legs!

Image

And in case you're wondering about size, it's about four-and-a-half Crayolas wide.

Let me know if you could use anything else!

Yeah, I have aHomestar Messenger Bag, and I like it a lot more han my old bookbag. It has the one zipper in front, which is where I store my pens/pencils/other non book items.

MZ, I have the Trogdor bag and I think it's totally worth it. Big enough for binders, etc., so great for school. My only complaint is the no little pockets thing. I think you should go for it.

Exactly what she said. Not only is it big enough to carry all my books for my classes (And it's a lot), it also shows off that you're a Homestar Fan.

I think I might pick one up for the hell of it. I'll need a notebook bag next year so hopefully it'll survive that long.

I also want a Kick the Cheat, but I think I'll wait till it goes on sale again. Like...the real discount it sometimes gets, not necessarily this 10% whatsit.

I've had mine for going on three years now. As long as you really don't thrash it, it'll be fine.

Thanks for posting those pics, Anydangway! Now I know what the inside of messanger bags look like! Since my Homestar bag is coming in on Thursday or Friday, I couldn't wait to see what it looks like!

Yes, I really wish that they had actual photographs of the items on there. It would give a better idea of how they look. If I remember correctly, they had a picture of the Homsar shirt once, but that was for a very short time.

Oh, and sorry for reviving a year-old thread.

No problem. Now, would you like to be hanged, or electrocuted? ;)

Yeah, I am pry getting one today. I appreciate the pictures, I was thinking that they may be to small and look like a man-purse... but I don't think that is the case.

I just got my own SB messenger bag yesterday, and it looks great.

It is a bit of a man-purse, but what messenger bag isn't?

Well as long as you got books in it instead of like, make-up, I think you're all right. Unless you're gay of course, in which case, more power to you.
