Hi, everyone...I'm a longtime lurker of the forum, and when I noticed that nobody had posted the discussion thread for the new e-mail, I thought I'd drop in and post it. Soooo...Thoughts?

Hey Andrew, same here. I didn't register mostly cause I hadn't come up with a good screen name, but this e-mail fixed that!

All in all I thought it was a pretty good e-mail. Don't wanna comment too much though causae Im a newbie, so I'll defer to the more senior members of this forum for further comment. :p

Hey guys, welcome to the forum - if you want to post an intro about yourself (and haven't already done so), click here.
Don't worry about being newbs - everyone for the most part here is pretty friendly.

Back on topic. I liked this email - anyone click on the table to read the grafitti? It was a message from Jacquae (sp?) from 227...I was wondering what those gold numbers were for, and I almost fell over from laughing when I clicked the grafiti and read it!

The part in the submarine was a little whacked out, but I still laughed, cause, well, I wouldn't be on a forum about H*R if I didn't appreciate the jokes! :sb:

Welcome y'all.

Anyways on to buisness:
I really liked this e-mail. I thought it was the best thing since animal. (wasn't that long ago but still..) I realy liked the female Lappy, and the easter egg at the end: "Don't fly, Strong Bad. Please come down. I worry about you. I can see the strings."

All-n-all I'd give it like a 9 outa 10
Good prize!

:sm: Well all, here's review numbah two.

1 for Strong Bad's attempt at "Gedgafov" and "Gliggityvoo"

1 for that ridiculous fish metaphor.... How nice and....metaphorical.

1.28 for 128 hot Katies. Most hot girls are named Katie....

1 for "My Lappy Ate Your Dog." Now that you mention it, my dog IS missing........

1 for the computer. "Those ladies are sure to be all up ons" Wish MY computer would talk like that.

1 for bronzing an email and dipping it in guacamole.

1 for Homestar's pronounciation of "about." A reference to South Park!

All in all, 7.28 points. Pretty soild!

Man, talk about gratuitously obscure! Although props to TBC for using something pre-Dark Side

Anyone notice Strong Bad has a tendency to perform sex-changes in his daydreams? So far, both Homsar and the Lappy have become hot* females in the wanderings of his imagination

*obviously, your mileage may vary

Yeah. I was like "awesome!" when it wasn't something from Dark side or the wall. :P

"Ping" is the noise that the ship and song make.

Thought this email was good, not great. It had its moments, but it didn't seem to tie together that well. Anywho, I had a couple of sort of references I thought I saw, and wondering if anyone else noticed them.

The seductive startup screen seems like a nod to the Simpsons, when Smithers' computer starts up with a picture of Mr. Burns saying "hello Smithers, you're very good at turning me on."

Second, I thought the reference to "those weird little kids" being right about a mystery might have been a Scooby-Doo reference (I'd have gotten away with it if it weren't for you darned kids).

Actually, that's just how an awful lot of Canadians pronounce "about," or at least a large portion of the Canadians I've met. Living near Canada has its advantages.

Anyway, the email was pretty good, I guess.

Five words. L. M. F. A. O. This email was so awexome. 10/10 and gets the Platinum Ungurait award for best references and the solid gold 'Teh Cheet' award the best look at Strong Bads....unique imaginary self. It was an inch away from the Platinum Trogdor for best post-100 email, but that went to 'Virus' hands down (which also snagged the Mouldy Cowcopter award for pure insanity, and the Golden Sbu for the most hilarious Bubs appearence.)

for all those who were whining because #121 wasn't "up to par" or that because TBC seemed to be "loosing their touch"... I think this email could be a big "IN YOUR FACE"

I think this might possibly be a contender for best Strong Bad email ever... it's right up there, anyways... much quotable new random funny stuff... only a few references to past emails and such... all in all, I'd give it an "awesome" out of "incredible"

Oh, that is so going into STUFF. ;)

Nice email. Not as good as last week's, even though I'm the only one who thinks so, but still decent. Seeing Strong Bad flying at the end made my day. And "another words" was one of the best mistakes ever.

Wow, just wow. Not only is that post tottally irrevelevant to the topic, it's also stupid and redundant.

I personally like all the e-mails, each has it's own pros and cons and the people who say "TBC are losing their touch" are either unbelivably jaded or bored and want to troll.

You used a service that anybody with an internet connection and a brain could've used themselves to get the information that you did, and are claiming that you're special because of it.

In other words, could you kindly quiet down, especially since you're way off subject?
