I've been coloring all day. I even printed it and made my own coloring book.

This has to be one of my favorite emails. Something about it was just great. Maybe it was seeing some real talking between Strong Bad and Marzipan. We never really see her this way anymore, she needs more major parts.

9/10

Is it just me, or did the "face" drawn on the drummer's chest look like something NOT very appropriate?

Also, The Cheat is learning english.

...Were they drunk when they made this one?

Heh-heh. Great e-mail. Homestar was just cute in this e-mail, with his "Teach-orr! I hafa go bafroom!", "Are we going to talk about crouns all day?" and , "I'm going to the libarry. To read me some piepie comics!"

Of course, the classroom/cult in general made me laugh. I finally figured out what crayon is supposed to be flesh color through this e-mail. Peach. Ridiculous. Light flesh and dark flesh would be better, though it might've made problems.

The Cheat... wow. He just looked like a professor's lackey with those goggles.

8/10, because this email... with the type of schooling... made me upset about my issues and wish I were taught somewhere a lot less frightening and stuff.

Still was a great e-mail, though. :)

The "skin flesh" line was actually a reference to the original name of the "peach" crayon, until in the '60's when it became inappropriate for the reason you stated.

This e-mail had some classic SB E-mail attitude! Lately, some of the e-mails have been quite dull, but this one was a nice surprise.

If they were, then I'm going to send them 10 crates of cold ones so that they keep up to the standard of this email.

LOL. I almost never wear my hair in a ponytail though, only when I'm working out. And I'd never go straight from a workout to a StrongBad concert without a good shower. But I totally want a Canadian flag shirt like that.

BOT - very funny email indeed.

For the record, I thought this was an INCREDIBLE email. Much better than average. It has everything going for it. New concepts galore, nostalgia, wacky humor all-the-time, stuff you're not gonna notice until your 5th time viewing, numerous Easter eggs, Easter egg with unlimited possibilities... The l33tspeak alphabet is what did me in.

I don't know if I'd agree with new concepts galore or that it is particularly weird. In my opinion, redesign was much weirder though making fun of the names is skating on the thin ice of not funny. There weren't many new concepts but a lot of reiterated Strong Bad making up stuff jokes, like defacing books or his adding endings to a short name like Em. I guess I liked Marzipan's PC crayons (it kind of branches out into a bit of a touchy space with the black crayon named blue and the flesh crayon not given color, might be even a little too political) and her Montessori thing though the joke was, as it usually is when she takes a lead role, mostly only on her being a big hippie. I actually thought he could have done weirder crayon names not related to the late 80s or Limozeen or gone on a weirder riff. I have to look at it again. I think crayons were a pretty limiting topic for the email and therefore as much invention was gotten out of Marzipan as could be.

Ah geez, you're right! I can't believe they didn't think of that! "Blue Laser"... ah man, Bros. Chaps, I'm so disappointed.

Chris Bad, I don't think you understand that Inverse Tiger probably knew that. He was referring to the fact that Strong Bad drew The Cheat next to that grill.

The word "Bunson" is not a word in the english language, as it does not appear in the Oxford English Dictionary. In slang, "Bunson" (probably an intentional misspelling of Bunsen) is one of a few things:
1. The warm spot left on a chair or couch when someone gets up,
2. A term used to describe something that is awesome, hot (visually) or "cool," or
3. A woman with abnormal abundance of facial hair.
Pressed Bunson Most likely is not a reference to any of these slang terms, but rather some mythical health-food substance akin to soy (because soy can be made into everything from Crayons to cheese).

Pressed Coolness? Pressed woman with facial hair? I have a feeling TBC weren't aiming for that. What would be cool though if if they actually made a Pressed Bunson product. It'd be in very high demand, people would buy it just to ask 'What on earth IS it?' (I Hope thats not counted as Bad Language)

I like this one a lot; it's funny, witty and came up with something completely random.

8.5/10 :F

Just casually posting here five years later saying that this was the first new toon I saw after catching up through the archives all those years ago. I forgot what a great email this actually was. I always get that pressed bunson song in my brain. Ah, the good times.
