I'm not a huge Star Trek fan, but all those little guys who were asking for So-and-So's autograph looked like they were speaking Klingon. Anybody know the translation?

I loved this one! 10/10.

It's definitely not authentic Klingon. Too many vowels.

But, seriously. I hate pop culture in general. It seems that "PG-rated" and "popular" never co-exist.

While this is true in some ways, this is mainly because different people have differing tastes and, well, not everyone enjoys strictly PG fare.

Well, as far as Steve Vai goes, not only is he not exactly what you'd consider pop culture (he has more of a cult following), a very large percentage of his songs are instrumental anyway (as in, at least more than half.)

If only that were more true. It's not quite a pop culture phenomenon yet, I don't think, but it's slowly approaching that.

Game shows and Disney? Aren't they pop culture?

I think you're right. I play D&D, and we use 20 sided and 12 sided die. (as well as 10, 8, 6, and 4 sided) And I think goblins are also in D&D, but I'm not sure.

Yeah, strange.

I rate this issue 10/10. It would have gotten 9 out of 10, but it had a Pom Pom apperance! Yay! :pom:

Also, it's glad we got another issue instead of an e-mail. Do you know how long I've been waiting for a TGS issue?

i liked it. That 20 sided died was good. I was hoping for an email but instead got a really good TGS.
8/10

Goblins are most definetly in D&D, being the resident GM of my area I should know. I don't use them that much though, typically just cannon fodder for the bigger, more awesome monsters (Mind Flayers are the cat's pajamas!)

Anyhoo, pretty good cartoon. So and So with the Strong Sad t-shirt was a high point. I'ma give it the old reliable 9/10.

My two favorite parts of this: The Tompkins and SB easter egg, and the "It's Over!" song at the end- a nice way to make the ending more orignal! I love the way TBC are able to tell when jokes are getting a bit stale, and build on them so they're funny.

All in all, I think this is the best thing from TBC since Montage.

Probably best TGS ever. Floor tomed!!! Great to see not one but two homestarrunner characters showing up, first SB in the first comic- and now Pom Pom and SB at the end. Don't suppose they go to CGNU do you?

I though it was really stupid and I didn't laugh once. I just fail to see the humor in TGS, except maybe the first one. The site would be better off without it.

Nah, the more features that the site has, the better off it will be. It will be more rounded, not just centered around one thing.

It would be an understatement to call that a stretch.

Ten bucks says we'll be deleting this from TGS8: Fun Facts...

One of the best TGS's yet.
"Awww, peas!"
"12 SIDED DIE!!!"
"POM-POMMED??"

Ahh....so many good moments.

9.5/10

Pretty good, but I think parts of it were TOO over the top. Like the bass turning into a shark (although "this bass looks seaworthy" is an apt pun.) Funny, but not enough to knock issue 5 from my #1 spot. Letter grade: B-

This cartoon was a-prettypretty good! I especially liked the Pom-Pommed? part and the Tompkins easter egg. I'd give it a 10/10.

Did anyone notice that this TGS seemed a bit darker than the rest?

I love Teen Girl Squad and I think this was the best one yet. "Mrs. So-and-So....erson" was awexome. 10 possums out of 10.

All evidence suggests they're a bit young for university. I guess Strong Bad just likes being prinicpal a lot

In retrospect, yeah, this one was weirder and creepier than the others. Talk about a "wicked step-mother"

Well, SB is the "prinicpal." Maybe its a high school subdivision.

I don't know why some people didn't like this one as much. I thought it was the best, I loved it. "Ow, my most of me!"

What, like figuratively darker, or literally, like the "inkings" were darker?

Nice barfing, like the added touch.

Also enjoyed the black StrongSad shirt So-and-so wears.

And they serve those Breadtangle Pizzas in our school, NASTY....
