XDDD That was awesome. I liked the reference to the government, because I've always been fond of that. >_> My favorite part has to be the polymascotfoamalate jingle. XD

That's not important.

Actually, it'd make him one of the few characters who has a considerable resistance to death. Marzipan, Homsar, Coach Z, and him, along with a few others.

Easily one of the best emails in quite some time.

Homestar reciting Coulomb's Law and acting all smart was classic.

And that whole branches of government stuff, oh man, I got that stuff hammered in to my brain when I was in 4th Grade. My teacher used to give us a ridiculous amount of HW on that stuff.

And yeah, we watched "I'm Just a Bill" too, and that totally helped me understand.

That was great! Odd, but great nonetheless. It's definitely enough to gain my apology for the mindless travesty that they call, "Happy Hallow-Day."

By the way, I was deeply saddened to learn that Coulomb's Law does not apply to the expression 2+2. Turns out, you need three variables, and one (that would be four) simply does not cut it. Oh well. Maybe next time, it'll be something that does easily apply to four, such as "If Johnny has four bushels of apples, and the Senate stabs him to death, how many apples does Brutus have?" Wait... that makes no sense whatsoever. Fin... land?

My favorite part was "And that's how I become a law!" Gotta love Schoolhouse Rock. XD

Homestar getting stuck in the watercooler was awesome. Just the image of him all twisted and tangled like that was high-larious.

That old-timey thing was kinda weird and off-putting... I did like the easter egg at the end riffing on it, though. XD

Very funny email. Especially when :hr: was stuck in the water cooler.

Pretty good--it had potential, but I thought it came out as just okay.
I did like the "phone tree survivor #13" bit -- I used to work at a call center, and it is so true. And I liked the way that The Homestar Runner went with the old-timey pronunciation that sounds more like "commonist" -- I always found that pretty funny.

Although I have to say, THIS is the funniest thing I've seen all day! XD

Yeah, pretty random, but in a good way! It's less like one big long email and more like a bunch of little scenes of Homestar being, well, Homestar. :P Kind of interesting how Strong Bad was hardly even in this email at all...

The "You're a bad boyfriend" part was great. I, unfortunately, have seen enough of those types of shows to know that it was pretty much dead-on accurate. "Yeah, whateva, you know you want some" XD;

You know, the first thing I thought of when the "Four branches of stupidity" thing came up was Schoolhouse Rock and the songs that taught kids about the government or whatever. So I absolutely cracked up when Homestar said "And that's how I became a law!" at the end. It's like they read my mind!

The communist alien was cute. So was Homestar when he was all squished up in the water cooler like that. ^^ And for some reason, I love the... running gag, I guess, of the soapbox having a bigger number on it every time it appears. I dunno why; it's just one of those little things that only really long-time fans would even notice, and it's neat.

Yeah, I've always wondered when we'd see the soapbox again. Maybe next time they use it, the Brothers Chaps will mess with our heads and put "Sorry folks, only 10 this time" on it. :D

I don't know why you guys pick out all of these silly things that you liked about the email like "Strong Sad was in it and that's always a plus..." when is Strong Sad ever a plus? And Marzipan, I don't understand why you are so crazy about Marzipan. Or Homestar in the water cooler or the "hilariously random" old timey cartoon part. I thought that the best thing about this email was the four branches parody which was really funny owing to the fact that it was a kind of word play. And why do you care so much that Homestar played a prominent role? I think that the branches thing was awesome, pretty much the most ingenious/aesthetically pleasing part. I liked how he said to call your local Homestarman and how Homestar sang "and that's how I become a law." It reminded me of US History, a pretty funny joke, pretty funny. I'm glad they are doing more of the old school word play. By that I mean more verbal, intelligent parody-style humor that is creative with cultural references. None of your random or minor characters crap.

no it was more reminding of that one cartoon on school house rock
and yes the part where homestar got himself stuck in the water thing was funny

Oh, this was a good one. This one jumps into my top 20, I should say. Homestar in the water cooler was... exactly something Homestar would do. Well, I give it 10/10.

Another excellent e-mail. I wish I had something new to add, other than the fact that I really loved the spaceship crashed into the factory in the factory/circus district. Makes me laugh every time.

The very concept of listing homestars stupidest moments would make it an instant classic, but great delivery as well!

I really enjoyed this one, but i might note something but don't feel like actually finding my way into the wiki to say it. Pac-man crashes before the score has a chance to loop, so we've seen no proof that you can actually loop the score. 2 + 2 is 22, atleast with strings :P, and almost all games have a loop point (or loop prevention) because of how variables are handled by most computers.

And thats how i become a lawwwwww!

A "Solid" Email. SB's reading of this was pretty fun, as was the watercooler gag, the mustard bit, and the final "And that's how I become a laaaaaaaw!"
And maybe Doubledeucemint would be better off with humor that's ACTUALLY SUPPOSED to be intelligent. Leave HR for the dumb pleasure it is.

I quite liked it, but being british sorta means I don't get most of the US governmental law jokes. Nevertheless, Seeing Homestar in a water cooler is not something you see everyday

I like the coulombs law bit best. It's amazing how TBC can even remember it, let alone Homestar. :F

EDIT: Actually, I was wrong. It was his opening song that cracked me up most.

:sb: Start your day the Sbemail way, and never get out of bed!

I'd give it a good healthy 7/10. Probably 8 if I was American.

Not to be a nag or anything, but who keeps deleting any reference to the chair-throwing incident from "Geraldo" on the wiki for this episode? To me, that scene was almost a direct homage to the infamous incident where "Geraldo" broke his nose on live TV.

I understand there being a push for good housekeeping since everybody and their brother is referencing a different reality TV show on that wiki, but that scene was almost certainly a reference to the Geraldo incident.

(For the record, I didn't input any of the deleted "Geraldo" references. I just wonder why it keeps getting deleted is all.)

Got to this a bit late.. but this is one awesome sbemail. It was going along rather smoothly, a good email, and then that polymascotfoamalate thing came out of nowhere and launched the thing to the heavens! Hehe, communism. It's nice how hanging a picture in Barbados tells Strong Bad everything he needs to know somehow. It gets your imagination going. Also, this could be proof that Homestar really is smart. It's a bit of a stereotype of physics types that they can do really complicated calculations but simple arithmetic escapes them.
This one gets an A. Huzzah!

I doubt they actually remembered it, they probably did some qucik research. It's possible, though.

Did anyone else notice that this sbemail song sounded a lot like the Tandy sbemail song from retirement? I keep thinking about the tandy one each time I watch this email.

Anyways, a pretty good email. I've been hoping for some new 1936 stuff (I never realized how much I liked the 1936 part of the website until recently) so the Polymascotfoamalate montage was a winner in my mind (A musical montage - even better). The office scene was well done, also.
