First toon you saw

A teacher I knew used H*R in her classes as an example of "How a good website looks and feels". (She especially liked to show her students how well the home pages functioned while looking great at the same time.) She loved how Strong Bad made fun of bad punctuation and grammar so she showed me “i she be” at about the time that “flag day” was new. I quickly viewed the rest of the “sb email”s and have been hooked ever since.

like 3 years ago one of my friends at school played the intro over and over and over so to me, for a long time, the words "Homestar Runner" were connected with an annoying guy saying "Everybody! Everybody!" and thats it. but then early this year, my brother got into it, and showed me dragon. if the intro or a sbemail dont count, it was either A Jorb Well Done or Strong Bad Is In Jail

The first two things I saw were also the intro and dragon. I saw dragon first, then the intro, and not sure after that.

The first toon i ever saw was the First Time Here toon, back in 2000, i think.

It was for me too actually. I saw it because at that time I was really hooked on anime and I thought that email was awesome because of course it had the whole anime style down. Then I watched Trogdor the week after.

Lol yeah. One night I spent hours trying to watch every single SBemail.
But that was impossible. It would be even harder to do now, because back then they only had like 86 emails, now there's like 159

I saw the Intro Page first. Everybody ... Everybody!! :bubs:

OK seriously, first I watched the character videos, and it was only after that that I noticed the First-time button ... and um ... I think it was really Strong Bad's character video that really got me hooked. :sb:

Probably the First Time Here and The Character Pages. I watched those a couple of weeks before I actually started to explored the website and saw my first toon, Strong Bad is in Jail.

a few years ago i was hanging out with some friends and they were all making these weird jokes, so i was all "what are you talking about"
they looked at me dumbfounded and were all "you dont know what homestar runner is?"
i just stared at them
so they pulled me to a computer and played dragon, action figure, and a few others

my life hasnt been the same since

I think my first one was "dangeresque 3". My first non-sbmail toon could have possibly been either "Strong Bad Sings" or "The system is down".

I didn't watch the toons for a while, so it was probly the Strong Bad In Jail Cartoon. (Thats tied for 1st on my favorite toons.)

I totally just started a post on the exact same topic before I realized that the question was HERE already...durr...

Anyway...my first toon was Where's The Cheat? back in July 2003. My friend Anna showed it to me, and at the time, I had a crappy dialup connection at home, so anything Flash took FOREVER to load.

But that Christmas we got three new computers, all with Optimum Online, and so, one of the first things I did was instant-message Anna and ask, "What was the name of that web site again?"

&&& the rest is history. :cheatgrin:
