Nintendo just released their Wii internet browser, so I've been watching Homestar Runner cartoons on my TV and playing Population Tire. It's really fun with the Wii Remote--hopefully if they later add keyboard mapping functions to the Wiimote we'll be able to play things like Stinkoman!

I know! It's so much fun. Strong Bad is even funnier on the Wii. ;) I tried to play Stinkoman on my Wii, too.

I really hope I can get a Wii for christmas - Population Tire on the Wii is just one of the many things that I've been looking forward to. It sounds quite fun.

What's really fun is watching the toons on the Wii, but this is a thread about playing the games on the Wii, so I'll shut up now. ;)

They'd be impossible to find, anyway; it's called "craze." :)

The game is actually a lot easier with the Wiimote (if you've got a lot of practice with accuracy on the thing from games like Twilight Princess). It would be nice if we could at least use the D-Pad as arrow keys in the Opera browser, it would open up several more games to us on the Wii.

And yeah, watching the Toons as they are released on the Wii is pretty neat. Opera resolves the colors and resolution in a weird way so it looks more like a television cartoon than flash animation (it's kind of hard to describe).

Oh yeah, I'm looking forward to that too. Heheh.

I wish I had a Wii right now.

Ha! Strongbadzone is improved! You can still play it with your mouse (I don't have a Wii). And what happens when you beat Vector Strongbad? It's not the same!

The wiki says that it didn't do that when you win in the original version because of a typo in the code.

Hahah, wow. I can't believe they actually implemented that Viidelectrix thing! I sent them an e-mail suggesting it on the day of the Opera browser wiilease and whaddaya know. Hopefully they take me up on the "Make some TurboGrafx games with Jonathan Howe!" thing too :D

Ooh, very nifty! I had been hoping they'd do something like this (though I was really hoping for Trogdor and Stinkoman on the VC...) I particularly like how the main menu is resemblant of the Wii Channels menu.

I bet those "More Coming Soon" games are Trogdor and Rhino Feeder...

I'll totally play Strong Bad Zone all day! Once I finish my icecream/homework, both of which I should be working on.

Anyone else think that TBC might make that Videlectrix game Easfer-egged into the new email exclusive to Viidelectrix?

I really think they should release their huge games (Peasant's Quest and Stinko Man) on viidelectrix. That would be awesome.

UPDATE! Trogdor is on there now! :) You play it with the D-pad, interestingly enough. Haven't played enought to find any other differences though.

There aren't really many, according to the wiki page. You can't do the 30 lives cheat anymore.

Now that they've figured out how to read the D-pad and 1,2 buttons in Flash, Stinkoman should be a cinch to redo.

Could've been some issue Wiicade had with then using their script thing. Sucks, because those were my two favorite Viidelectrix games.

Their website says the API will only work on WiiCade.com, but then how did Jonathan Howe get it to work? (?)
