That was pretty good. I liked the phone call from Gunhaver's voice actor, and Homestar forgetting that he was sinking in quicksand. Guns for pandas. Heh.

Yes, I enjoyed it as well. The Automation of SB was very cool! I've always enjoyed the answering machines, and this, I think, is one of the best.

Seemed pretty average to me, sadly. I was hoping for much more.

Although I enjoyed Homestar's "I'm actively sinking in quicksand" line.

Normally, I don't like :marzi: aaansweriing machines when there's :sb: emails to be made. But this one was REALLY FUNNY! ( better than most sbemails if you ask me! )

 Yes, I know I'm so bad

I loved the Cheat Commandos cameo, and Homestar being... well... Homestar, especially the quicksand Easter egg.

Strong Bad's prank was good. Some of his other pranks were better, but still, it was good.

Coach Z's randomness is generally hit-and-miss with me, unfortunately today was a miss.

Strong Sad being happy, albeit happy for totally dull and depressing reasons, was weird... but was funny all the same.

All up, I give it 49126/52185, and am anxiously hoping for a return of Crack Stuntman :D

"Pistols for Pandas"? I guess Gunhaver's voice actor supports the "right to arm bears". *rimshot*

Another fine installment of Marzipan's Answering Machine!

Dang, that Strong Sad seriously creeped me out. I guess it can be a little bit difficult for Matt to get the voices entirely right with these machines (I noticed the Old-Timey voices were off last episode), because Strong Sad was just bizarre.

I really liked the second half of Homestar's message and his easter egg, and Gun-hay-ver's message was great too. Expecially since some of my weirdo friends pronounce Gunhaver's name like that for whatever reason, so it was funny to see that pop up.

Coach Z was pretty meh, though. Strong Bad's prank joke was pretty good.

I wonder if the Pistols for Pandas thing is a reference to "Eats, Shoots & Leaves."

Strong Sad's bit was perhaps my favorite bit on here. Or maybe Coach Z's. Aww, heck, I loved all of 'em! :D It's not my favorite thing ever, but I definitely did enjoy this one. Boy, SS was weird today... I wonder if he's had a few drops of coffee. ;P

3 out of 4 of the last updates are non-Sbemail. I was hopeful for my email this week....

Anyway, I liked it. I'm never a big fan of MAM, but this one was okay. :hr: and  were really good. The others were meh. Not as good as 13.2.

It gets a.... 1.2

Especially the speaking ones. It's worse to have to talk and be misheard than just punch a button...

This was OK. The things I didn't like were Coach Z, because he's starting to bring this thing into the PG rating, and Strong Sad, because that was just retarded.
Everything else was great, especially Strong Bad's latest prank.

6/10

My favorite message was DEFINITELY Gunhaver's voice actor. That cracked me up totally. The other ones were pretty good too, and I was amused at how incredibly freaking LAME Strong Sad is. XD

Haha, I liked this answering machine.

I think my favorite part was when Homestar forgot what he was saying, and then later called to say, "I remember now! I'm actively sinking in quicksand!" XD Wow, Homestar...

I also thought Strong Bad's prank call was pretty funny. Although I still think the "you said you'd bake us a cake" one was the best. ^_^

All in all, a very good answering machine! XD

Um, Coach Z's shin joke- under par. Long winded. Other than bring my beep back, Homestar Runner's first message was completely unnecessary and the continuation lame. Crack Stuntman- other than pistols for pandas, under par. Long winded. Strong Sad's is sort of funny but disturbing in its lameness. Strong Bad's is only funny because he made fun of voice recognition and longwinded too. A lot of wasteful verbiage.

Hahaha. It sure is. How clever is that?

Hmm... it was okay. Nothing really special. Except for Homestar's quicksand question and Pistols for Pandas.

How do you know that for sure, though? It's still a rather oblique reference.

Guess I'm not so much *sure* as thinkin' "it has the ring of truth"... so to speak ... like that's an oblique to LOTR... ;)

And before anyone TOASTPAINTS me, I won't get more than one step away, don't worry. Converse will wander some though.

Not quite, it's "To check on the status of an existing butt that's so big it has its own Congressman". Still a good quote. :sb:

You don't seem to realize these answering machines are ALL ABOUT talking. Saying that things are "unneccessary" and that there was "wasteful verbiage" is missing the point.

Yeah, not to flame, but does doubledeucemint post anything but unnecessarily detailed diatribes on how the humor in most Homestar Runner toons isn't "high brow" or "sophisticated" enough for him? (?)
