Kinda like An Important Rap Song and Drive-Thru: not a gut-wrencher, but nonetheless very fun to watch in a nonsensical matter. What did I just say? :p

I liked this one a lot. Seal/Cheat was kind of weird, but I liked the "lawsuits", especially Strong Sad's revenge. The DNA reference was obviously forced--it was supposed to be. That's what makes it funny, and makes me sure more is coming of it.

Also, I love making fun of stupid flavored water with 2O at the end...

Good point. There wasn't much of a real end to this one.

I thought it was odd that Strong Sad had trouble fitting his writing into that normal-sized notebook after having transcribed Paradise Lost on a single grain of rice. "...In four languages!"

Pretty solid, all in all. I especially like that it's one of the rare emails these days that you can send to someone who's never seen the series. No inside jokes or anything (except in the Easter eggs) or stuff you'd need to be familiar with the characters to get. I tend to notice these things 'cause I like showing them to my parents from time to time (in particular radio, technology, space program, and japanese cartoon).

The DNA evidence is a proof that TBC still reads the wiki.

Also, I love the fact that Strong sad is hurting Strong bad

I think the best one for that was Death Metal, but Dragon was pretty good as well. Does that mean this one will be put on Podstar Runner?

I'd also add "Stupid Stuff" (very underrated toon) and "Crying" to that list. I showed those two to my girlfriend, who previously never watched a H*R cartoon.

This was kinda funny. I liked promblems hahaha :D Strong sad's revenge was perty awesome but I'm kind of tired of the comic/cartoon spin since we've already got tgs. Guess it was kinda different for someone to draw sb and the cheat I also loved strong sad's "noootebook"

Nobody?

Quote:
The way they worked in the DNA evidence was pretty funny, though.

Quote:
The DNA evidence is seen by clicking on the wall outlets at the end of the email. And it was one of the funnier parts of the email.

Quote:
There was a lot I liked about that one. [...] and the most intentionally corny and tacked-on reference to DNA evidence yet.

Quote:
I laughed so hard at the DNA evidence!

Quote:
I loved:
....................................DNA, evidence.

Quote:
But I forgot about the whole DNA Evidence running gag, so to have the absolute last thing I see in the email be Homestar grudgingly forcing a DNA Evidence ref in... Serious LOL.

Quote:
but for some reason, I found the DNA evidence to be really funny.

Quote:
The Senor Cardgage and DNA evidence both made this e-mail all that much more enjoyable.

Quote:
and the DNA evidence gag was FANTASTIC.

And that's only from the first page of this topic.

hey--
I'm new on the forums but I joined because I loved this sbemail, which packed in a lot and was reminiscent of older sbemails. My thoughts on the DNA evidence:
Some people have said that TBC have forgotten about the gag or that their way of working it in was lame. This was really very hilarious because TBC is making fun of us fans and the hrwiki forums..they KNOW we were all expecting the DNA evidence (which I think was appropriately placed in the first two emails in which it appeared..the first one was marzipan and homsar and they needed a nonsequitur-type of conversation, so DNA evidence made sense..then in the next e-mail, it was SB and the Cheat in the same position drinkin' tea..after that TBC just ran with it and it got out of control but I enjoyed every second)...but yeah so they knew we were all expecting it, but also wanted to let it die. what better way than to show in an easter egg how overused it's become? it reminds me kind of how in south park there will be times when kyle is obligated to say "omg, they killed kenny, those b--stards" simply because it's routine and not because he has the same passion for the phrases as he did in the earlier episodes. likewise, h*r does the same with the DNA evidence. In my opinion, it was TBC's way of ending the gag on a high note, with a self-referential way of acknowledging how ludicrous the gag has become. It's genius. also enjoyed the :senor:

I liked the way the text moved when Strong Bad typed "flavored water". Reminds me of some NES games that use a similar visual effect.

The Cheat acting like a seal and Strong Sad getting his revenge on Homestar were pretty funny too

also DNA Evidence

8/10

Perhaps it's just me, but at about 1:40 in the toon, it sounds like The Cheat says "What's happening?"
