Finally at last!

I liked it. It was a little short, but it was good to see Lil' Strong Sad again.

Wiki link.

So... what do we call this new entity? The Paper? The Paper 2.0? Lil' Inky?

Yeah, I'm not sure what we're going to call this one. I'm really gonna miss the ol' preow after every email. On the plus side though, think of all the new possibilities that will arise now that Strong Bad can print in color.

Eh. After hearing the "preeeow!" for .. don't know how long (been watching since huttah!, so thats 4 years according to the wiki) , its going to be hard to get used to the noise that the new "inkajet" printer makes. Prints a little slowly, too.

Still, nice to see some change, and the origins of the paper. A good 3.5/5 for this one I think.

Eh, it was ok. Other than the line "Why do all my 30 year old electronics keep breaking on me?!?" nothing really to write home about.

Finally! It was greater than my expectations! It even had :hr: with his mountain dew, ready to destroy things. and they had a parody of one two, one two! WOOOOOOOOOT! the new noise will be hard to get used to...

Aww... I checked, but the pop_tire music is from their original, not my remake... still, I like to think I had a hand in them using that music over something else...

As the eternal programmer, I cracked up for "Preeeeow, world", also Strong Bad's reaction to New Paper's sound... and the basketball scene... and the One Two rehash... this email was full of win.

And they had ROTT in the Floppy Disk Container... finally, a game I've actually played! Man, that game had some really good music... the actual game was meh, but the music was good...

I also liked the dribble, dribble shoot Easter egg. It was funny. And Homestar's line, "Aw, man! Wish I had a time-and-space-transcending piece of paper on my team." was hilarious. And goth The Paper.

Aw, I was hoping for a One Two redux. :P
Very...interesting...moments from The Paper's past. But I likey, I likey. Not the greatest, but great none the less.
"Aw, man! Wish I had a time-and-space-transcending piece of paper on my team." Sums it up nicely.

*sniff sniff*

'Twas a fitting end though. If Strong Bad has just said, "I guess my crappy paper broke" and kicked it out the window, I would have had to march to the house of the Brothers Strong and teach him who's who.

That Paper 2.0 is going to have large shoes to fill. He better step up, or step out.

Well, it was nothin' we didn't expect. I guess it's hard for TBC to do anything surprising with something that the fan base was anticipating this much. I did like the sinking island, though.

Hmmm. My dad still owns a dot matrix printer. Granted, it's one of those later ones that has small, square pixels and can handle PostScript transmissions, like from Word or whatever, but it's a dot matrix nonetheless. I guess I can tell him now, "Look, even Strong Bad ditched his dot matrix printer. Why can't you?" (We've got like, three inkjets just sitting around not being used because we get 'em from people.)

Toastpaint.

I like how even this new Paper isn't a very good inkjet printer. It has problems with row separation and fading colors, just like you'd expect a pre-owned printer to. Gives it character. And the link is in OCR font, for some strange reason.

Heh. Bubs having to duct-tape the new printer to the ceiling. I can just imagine how he reacted when SB asked him to do that. "You want me to what your what to the where?!"

A fitting send-off for The Paper. I liked all the flashbacks to the good times SB and The P had, especially the one where The Paper protects the Lappy from being doused in Mountain Dew (and the follow-up easter egg: "The blood is rushing to my head... blacking out, blacking out, blacking out!") and the one where Strong Bad gets rescued from the Island ("How is this island sinking? I didn't even kill any end bosses!")

Anyway, I wonder if they'll do anything with the fact The New Paper can print in colors...

I might have thought a laser printer, but thats TOO sophisticated. I wonder if SB will have to clean the heads. The pictures have stripes in them. Must be an HP printer. :D

Wonder if The Cheat will get a new iMac ... or a Mac Mini?

I think I will be the first to say this:

The Paper 2.0 SUCKS and I hate it!

I mean, the E-Mail was good. There were funny moments. I just hope Death pulls a mulligan on The Paper's death, because I hate the new Paper. It's too contemporary (think about it), it's slow, it has a bunch of problems and is way too showy-offy.

I am gonna miss the Paper. But this new guy looks like he has potential. Also, I never realized the Paper was such a good athlete.

I guess sometimes you don't really get to know a person until it's too late. :(

Even though the demise was expected, TBC managed to pull in some new angles like they always do. Man, was that funny. The prep phase, the goth phase, the One-Two rehash, everything. Just priceless.

"Manute Bol" was the funniest thing I've seen on the site. Right along with "how is this island sinking??"

Also, AMAZING Contra reference. I had to fix the Wiki on that one.

Short, but with a far better laugh:time ratio than any email from recent memory.
