I agree it's the best game yet. I think I like it so much because it reminds me of Megaman. Does anybody know what holding B does? I tried it, like the manual said, and nothing happened.

it distracts you from the other two buttons. It makes it hard to press A and S. I think it reminds me of sonic. Especially the instruction manual where they go through all the Badniks.

I don't know if this will help, but try not to jump until you're at the very edge. For longer jumps you have to wait till only a little part of your foot is on the ground and the rest of you is floating in midair.

I think I'm one of the few people who made it up to Level 2.1. Stinkoman has a nice kitchen, though! I wonder if the rest of his house is as big as the kitchen.

(Long time viewer, first time poster.)

With introductions aside, I shall cut to the chase... why is it that for some people (such as myself) the first level is unplayable? I just fall to my doom below and that's it... the game seems awesome otherwise, but it'd be nice if I could play it.

I also see TBC hasn't updated their page with this game yet. I only know about it because of the Wiki. How did the Wiki know in advance?

The official site was updated this morning. You probably just have to clear your cache.

Oh... okay... that doesn't usually happen. Still doesn't explain why I can't play the first level of the Stinkoman game though.

EDIT: Okay, it works in Internet Explorer, but not in Netscape. It also shows the update in IE. So yeah... it's a fun game. Yup. I normally use Netscape instead of IE because IE messes up my computer, but the game worked just fine in IE. Yay.

Okay, there's this one part in 1.1 where one of those antenna-shooting things is standing there, with a bunch of those cactus things behind it. I have absolutely NO idea how to get past that! Yaargh!

This game is great. It reminds me of the Super Nintendo.

This game is great! I'm actually wishing that this would come out on DS or PSP. That would be great.

If you want it for DS (or Gba) just buy Megaman and bass or any of the side scrolling megaman games. Lol

Sweet game. I live megaman. Ive gotten to to the boss 2.2

I got in a glitch where you can only shoot one fireball at a time >.> makes things really annoying

It would be cool if you got to choose your bosses (like Mega Man). And get the powers. Like:

Anime Man
Weapon Man
Wing Man
Wall Break Man
Time Man
Copyright Infringment Man

I think it would be cool if in one level you can fight Old Timey Homestar like in that short!

Is it supposed to autosave after each "stage" or "level" -- example for stages 1.1-1.2 (does it save?) or does it only save on the next "level" (ex: 1.x-2.x)?

I never really cared that much for any games on HSR, but this one, this was a glorious achievment! Loved it! I've already mastered it, I can beat the game without a loss of life and go all through level one without taking damage.

I hope to see more games like this!

This is the best game ever. The first level was pretty hard, but after I beat that, I finished the rest of the game without using any continues.

I saved the game to my HD as some suggested. Take a look at the XML files for the levels:

Code:
<SO>
<y>88</y>
<x>5728</x>
<d>0</d>
<cT>Platform</cT>
<sT>6</sT>
</SO>

X and Y specify where to position the object. D is the unique ID (index) of the object. cT is a class or category (i.e. Platform, Powerup, Obstacle) and sT is the object type within that class. The objects are no doubt stored in objectLibrary.swf.

I haven't had a lot of time to play around with this, but in theory, one could (very tediously) design their own Stinkoman levels, just like people used to do with Doom. Or somebody with experience in Flash could make a Stinkoman level editor.

This also means that it would be very easy for the creators to add new levels as opposed to a sequel. Although game engine updates could also be implemented independently of the levels. But I doubt that you'll see a "double deuce" feature soon.
