The Anime email's 5th birthday was last week and I didn't see anybody making any Stinkoman-style index pages! I just find it unbelievable they did nothing for 20X6 but now they're pulling all the stops for Trogdor. I think they should have at least made the easy and medium versions for 3 levels of the Stinkoman game.

They didn't do anything for Sweet Cuppin Cakes or Teen Girl Squad or Thy Dungeonman. Why should they do something for 20X6?

Then again, why should they do something for Trogdor?

They need to do more 20X6, period, anyway.

Trogdor does seem to be a favorite of TBC, and I'm assuming that it has a large fanbase behind it (yet it seems to be one of the only major branches of the cartoon that doesn't have its own main page...). However, 20X6 does seem to have a lot of popularity as well, so maybe there will be a celebration of some sort for it in the future.

This could also be applied to other types of Homestar Runner cartoons, as well.

Uh, Stinko man was never as big Trogdor. He doesn't even have his own shirt. I mean he's pretty good but he's just not that big D: happy birthday anyways.

Actually, there used to be a Stinkoman shirt, but it was taken down awhile ago.

I always thought Stinkoman had more potential than Trogdor did because he could actually tallk and fight people. Before Trogday 08 all Trogdor did in Free Country was lie there on Strong Bad's notebook paper.

Umm, that happened in Trogday '08, not before it.

I think TBC doesn't care as much for 20X6 as much as Trogdor, maybe because Trogdor is a lot more popular. As well, having 2 different celebrations within a week from each other would be too much of a hassle for them to update.

You know, this is kind of a tangent, but I'm still amazed that two of the best SBEmails ever to come out of TBC's able imaginations...came out literally back-to-back. It's rare that an email's on par with that level of quality, and here we had two of them released within a week of each other. The spawn of countless running gags and an entire parallel continuity thing, with blue hair.

Uh, anyway. Stinkoversary. I don't really mind the absence of any celebration, but a little more airtime for our stereotypical shonen hero would not disappoint me.

Yeah, I think more should've been done for him. We hardly get to see him anymore. Hope he doesn't go in the trashcan like Homeschool did...

Stinkoman is one of my favourite characters. Having watched lots of Anime myself, this was the most hilarious thing I had ever seen at the time. Strong Bad nailed absolutely everything. I also use the no thumbs trick for my characters. (since fingers are hard to draw)

Here's hoping Stinkoman gets a party next year.

He should get a party! That's a great idea!

Here's another great irony about the hype surrounding :trogdor: 's fifth: the birthday of some crude dragon doodle deserves a new index page but the 10th birthday of the book that launched the whole h*r body of work does not.

Really? I think quite the opposite. I have found that they try to not use Trogdor as little as posssible in toons. The only time they really use him is in the store and on his B-day. I think the reason they don't use Trogdor except on those two occasions is because if they use him too much fandom will spiral out of countrol. Although I definitaley agree that 20X6 needs some sort of celebrtaion

I think that they should alternate. Say '08. Happy Trog-Day. 2009 comes, and it's time for Stinko-Day. 2010 means it's time for another Trog-Day. You get the picture.
