Brilliant email! I haven't laughed that much at an email in ages.

Loved Coach Z and Bubs "older" characterisations being taken pretty much to the extreme here. Judging on the earlier toons, I'd never really suspected they'd get paired up like this, but it seems to work perfectly.

And I'm glad to see Pom Pom is back, so to speak. I laughed out loud when he bounced into space - it was just so sudden and unexpected. And seeing him drifting is somehow soothing.

5/5

I'm sad that they didn't do an easter egg of a mock-megaman intro for "Hit-Enter-Too-Soon Man"

This was one of the best emails I've seen for a long time. I've always wanted to see a swimming pool filled with jello.

The whole email was simply brilliant.

That was a really funny one, especially Homestar stating what he could have got, Pom Pom, and Marshie. Really like this one.

The Brothers Chaps have begun 2008 with very strong email offerings, which in my opinion more than make up for the not-bad-but-not-great "Trogday 08." Keep the "train wreck a-rollin', " guys!

What's this? A Strong Bad Email where he actually answers the question AND manages to be funny at the same time? AMAZING

The part about Homestar wanting his dead body to be encased in red jello was pretty funny.

I mean...I laughed. Out loud, even.

I was a small child the first time I heard the thing about the headlights, and it made me very scared...I know it isn't true, but I still try to wait until there are no cars coming towards me in the other lane if I need to turn my headlights on while I'm driving.

I know that's not technically "blinking" my headlights, but who knows if the people in the oncoming car are TRIGGER HAPPY GANGSTERS.

Gangster #1: "Hey, that guy just blinked his lights at us! Let's get him!"

Gangster #2: "No way, man. He just turned them on."

Gangster #1: "Let's kill him anyway!"

Then again, I also always think people in the other cars will laugh at me if I turn my windshield wipers on if it isn't raining very hard.

...perhaps I shouldn't drive?

BACK ON TOPIC...This email was a-pretty nice.

Did anyone notice that Strong Bads mouth is not a rectangle or a circle after the KOT eats the jello? That really caught my eye.

I thought it was pretty good, especially near the end with Strong Bad and the downbeat music playing in the background. But what of Pom Pom, though? Is he gone for good?

Take a look at the end, then. I can only agree with Strong Bad when he wonders why Pom Pom hasn't come back down. Because he's floating around in outer space, that's why.

WOW. Pure GOLD!!! I was laughing the entire way through this! Def keep this up, TBC!!

Favorite iTems:
Homestar's choice of reimbursement.

Bill Cosby.

Little stuff, like "...and less pretend" or "Hey you three".

The Poopsmith's little KOTSignal, and the KOT's odd heroics.

Strong Bad's mouth after the unspeakableness.

"So what are we doing for breathing down here?" "I dunno. I really hadn't thought that far ahead."

Anything else I forgot.

I totally want them to podcast this one soon.

What I meant was that this means nothing. It's inconsequential. TBC wouldn't remove Pom Pom from the site this way. It is, in short, a joke, and nothing more. No need to take it seriously.

(Remember that whole thing with Homestar in the painting?)

Yeah, maybe so. But I think Homestar in the painting is a bit different. Because in the next scene or so, he is seen with the others as they stand around in their costumes, like always.

Man, do I hate Marshie in all his incarnations...he creeps me out!

Does anybody think that the black-and-white :sb: head in the corner of Strong Badman comic books resembles the black-and-white Spider-Man head that appeared on Marvel comics during Secret Wars?

Yeah, the more I see Marshie, the more I hate him. And I started hating him the moment that toenail got stuck in his throat, which was his, what, second appearance?

Uh, try his fourth, counting the appearances in Pumpkin Carve-nival and "the show" (aka email 66).

This is reminding me of an Ed edd n eddy episode were Edd was preparing a green jello pool. Anyways, I was cracking up hard as heck. Especially when Homestar thought he was loosing oxygen. Death by jello...lol.

Now is it just me or are the characters not affected by the cold? I mean, there was snow on the bushes. Hmm...

Funny, the jello bit kinda reminded me of a scene in Mickey and the Beanstalk: specifically, the part where Goofy tries to grab his hat on the jello, but just misses each time as he and the hat keep bouncing all over the jello.

He'll return when TBC want him too, I guess. Anyway, this was a solid sbemail. I didn't think we'd see the pool again.

Best Parts

Marshie actually grew creepier. :eekdance:

Pom-Pom bouncing into space-The "boing" sound effect was hilarious!

the shape of Strong Bad's mouth

the surfer slang

Man, I really want some Jello now. (laughs)

I think it would be funny if, in about 7 or 8 sbemails... pom pom returned falling from the sky like a meteor or something... all on fire. lol.

You know how in the Stinkoman game Pan Pan gets kidnapped? Well, maybe they could do a Big Toon where everyone tries to find him and he returns from outer space. It'd be kinda like Where's The Cheat and be called Where's Pom Pom.
