I love how even after they got rid of Tubby, UK still finds a way to blame him for their problems.

Yeah, I don't care about college basketball right now.

I wish college football season would start again tomorrow.

Strange thing for someone that lives so close to Lexington KY to be saying, isn't it?

Maybe I should start cheering for Minnesota. I hope the fans that ran Tubby off are happy with this Ted Kennedy wannabe we have at the helm right now.

Don't go hatin' on Billy G too quickly, SR. Gillispie has already picked up several major college recruits. I liked Tubby, but I think it was best for the program that he left. And when he left, he didn't leave us a whole lot, although Harris and Stevenson have improved a lot.

Boston Celtics are running roughshod over the league.

I don't care about college basketball. In fact, I hate everything about it.

He got blown out of his own arena by Gardner-Webb. Gardner-Webb: a school that won only 9 games last year. That's worthy of being hated.

I'll be the first to tell you that's unacceptable, but that same squad beat Vanderbilt last week. It takes time and not a whole lot of people expected him to come in and work miracles. Unfortunately, the few idiots that did were also the ones that "ran Tubby out of town" and are the ones that carry the most voice, which is why UK fans have such a bad image.

LEGAL DOUBLE POST!!

As bad as UK is, they are not the worst team in the SEC. LSU is.

Maryland took down UNC 82-80. That's one less in the Land of Unbeatens. It's not the one I wanted to see.

I never thought I'd ever see the day when SEC teams would be looking forward to playing Kentucky or LSU (either at home or on the road).

I'm impressed that Kentucky took Florida into OT last night. Granted, they got stomped once they got there, but still...

We went to eat in Lexington last night, forgetting the game was an away game. All of the restaurants were packed. Oops.

Also, the Hilltoppers are 14-5!
YAY Hilltoppers.

I still think Memphis has the best chance of running the table.

As much as it pains me to say, Kansas has a chance to go undefeated too. Why? Because the one team that could beat them(Texas) lost the player that would allow them to do so(Kevin Durant).

That's very simple...we're UK, they're Tennessee. 'Nuff said.

Kentucky wins again...

What is going on?!?! We can't beat the grandparents of the Pearl Harbor survivors from Midway, Kentucky, but we can win in the SEC.

Chris Paul has developed into one of the best PG's in the game and Tyson Chandler and David West have become threats down low.

And UK won again because of Ramel Bradley, the new Iron-man of Kentucky basketball.

Syracuse has to beat Providence tomorrow. I don't want to see SU go to the Big East Tournament in a must win situation.

DePaul scares me too. Playing at DePaul is always a trap game for SU. Syracuse had a 39 point loss there two years ago.

Syracuse had to beat Providence...and they did. Good job, orange.

Is it me, or does it seem like SU has had some terrible luck lately? They picked up two All Americans in Flynn and Greene and they seem to be struggling. Like I have any room to talk about a struggling team.

That's because of two things:
1) Inexperience - There are only two guys on the team(Eric Devendorf and Andy Rautins) that have significant game experience.

2) Injuries - Rautins and Devendorf are both out for the year with ACL tears.

So when you lose your two most experienced guys, it's going to be difficult. I hope that the OT loss they had at Georgetown sparked something in them.

Well there is that.

Anybody else think Vandy is just a tad overrated after the stomping the Gators handed to them?

Eh, not gonna bother with that one. State's probably gonna get killed.

WRONG!!

Kansas State beat Kansas 84-75. That leaves Memphis as the only unbeaten in the land.

I want to see Gottlieb's reaction to this.

EDIT: And Syracuse beat DePaul.

Tubby Smith got #400 against Michigan last night.
Conga-rats.

See, Kentucky fans, that could have happened here.

I agree completely! In a biased form of agreement being a Warriors fan and whatnot.

But seriously, who in the world is doing the voting that won't vote for Baron?

UK wins again!! This time without Bradley (got his by Dave Bliss, who should've at least gotten a flagrant foul for the hit he put on Bradley), without Meeks, and Crawford playing on one ankle scored 26 points!

We are now over .500 and won our first road game this year! Go cats!!!

Syracuse killed Nova today, 87-73. SU is starting to get on runs like they did the last two years. They need to beat at least two of the three ranked teams left, luckily all three are Home sweet Dome plus they need to beat UConn and Louisville. Hopefully, the refs won't play favorites with UConn.

When is that Louisville game? On that day, I will become a Syracuse fan, if only for a few hours.
