@Ido:
If you download Power Tab Editor (freeware version of Guitar Pro), you can download Power Tabs which are a combination of traditional sheet music and tab.

Ook.
I really don't like my distortion, it's a Big Muff copy.
Tried out the Big Muff, didn't like it either.
Any recommendations for a good... oh how to put it... alternative? distortion?

The best on the market, IMHO, is the Seymour Duncan Twin Tube Mayhem. But if you can't shelve out around $250 or so, I'd go with a BOSS Metal Zone pedal, or that Metal Master from DigiTech.

I tried out the Metal Zone, frankly the thing is total crap.
I'm looking for something with slightly less gain.

Yeah, Metal Zone is ok...

...if you like to sound like you're playing through a half pressed-down wah pedal.
Get a Boss DS-1 or SD-1. I've tried both and they're both pretty good. Also, they're cheap.

I'm thinking about getting a Flying V eventually.
Good idea?

Cool. Would an Epiphone be as good as a real Gibson?

IMHO, I'd go for a gibson, but if you can't afford it, then take the Epiphone. Keep in mind, you may have to get one of those crappy Epi Goth V's ; I haven't been to a Guitar Center or Music Store that has any other kind of Epiphone V than that, but it may be different where you are.

This is the only Epiphone V on the Guitar Center site. It's probably what I'll end up getting.

Epiphone is great. I was actually considering getting the Thunderbird bass or an SG.

Thunderbird Epi Bass. Great Price, and ALOT more inexpensive than the Gibson model.

The Inlay is the Metalocalypse Logo. I'm gonna keep this in C and keep my regular Explorer in standar/drop D... My god this will be awesome.

I knoooow it's so great! I think I'd play it in standard.

Also, about Kingdom of the Crystal Skull:
"The film will need to gross at least US$400,000,000 to make a profit for Paramount."
That is not a small number.

The only thing that turns me off about the guitar is where the second strap button is located. I don't like having it where it is on a Strat, I like having it in the back! Makes the strap stay on better IMHO.

I'll switch tunings because I only have one guitar at the moment and I'll probably have to sell it to get this one.

Explorer + EMGs + inlays + pickguard + Dethklok name + already high instrument price = Very expensive

Very yes.
Btw, I actually tuned down to Drop G# one time. It was like playing rubber bands.

I did the same. Since the neck was in such bad shape though, there was a lot of rattle.
Edit: Oh, you can add to the equation "- Epiphone" if you want.

Ah. I just realized we should be talking about this in the guitar thread.

And that we're the only ones on besides BTG.
