I said that on the last page.

If we really want to get technical about "experience", then Barbara Bush should be the first woman president.
She was married to the VP for 8 years (would that make her the Vice Lady?), First Lady for 4, mother of a president of 8 years, mother of 2 governors for who knows how long (Jeb and G-Dub), wife of a US representative, wife of the head of the CIA, and who knows what else.

Agreed. Political dynasties need to leave. A person shouldn't get elected based on their name and what their grandpa did.

On Wednesday, John Edwards endorsed Barack Obama in Grand Rapids Michigan. I was there and taped Obama introducing him (My battery and tape were simultaneously running out) Here is my video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tgXd3x62CB8

What do you think? Will this give Obama the extra edge he needs to win the nomination?

He's already got the nomination. What he needs is Hillary to drop out and start campaigning for him to try and win over some of the voters from her camp to Obama.

She's not going to give up, she's not going to let down, she's not going to run around and dessert her chance at getting the nomination. This is going to go on until three weeks before the election when Obama finally says "Fine, you stubborn old bat, have fun ruining this country when McCain wins."

You think Obama would give up? Obama's never gonna give up, he'll be the new John McCain.

*blinks* I don't see anybody saying Obama might not get enough delegates, or that he might give up on anything.

She was in Frankfort yesterday. I saw her speech on TV. She's pretty delusional when it comes to saving us money on gas.
First off, taxing the oil companies won't work. They pay another 200 million in taxes, who do you think will ultimately pay it?
Making the oil companies pay the federal gas tax? Riiiight. They pay 30 cents per gallon, we'll pay 45 more just for their trouble.

I don't know the answer, but I know her plan won't work.

Old quote but something I just found.

Hillary wrote:
"I'm going to work my heart out for whoever our nominee is. Obviously, I'm still hoping to be that nominee, but I'm going to do everything I can to make sure that anyone who supported me ... understands what a grave error it would be not to vote for Sen. Obama."

Well, if I read that correctly, that wouldn't be him giving up, that'd just be him getting annoyed that Hillary splintered the party so much.

If Obama wins the next primary then he gets the lock, doesn't he? He has to be incredibly close.

Also I heard that Hillary won Kentucky...

If he won Kentucky, then that's the weirdest score keeping I've ever seen.
Hillary thumped him in the Bluegrass State. 60-something to 30-something.
He won Lexington and Louisville, but did horrible in the rest of the state.

And stats have come from Kentucky. 50% of their Democrats have said that if Obama wins the Democratic ballot, they either won't vote, or they'll vote for McCain.

They do not like Obama in Kentucky or West Virginia.

I think the count is about 35% nationwide of Clinton supporters say they'll vote for McCain if Obama gets the nod.
This outsider looks at that and says, man, those people are really full of themselves.

WV and Kentucky bought into Hillary's "I'm for the blue-collar worker" stuff.

So did Pennsylvania. Hillary's father was from Scranton, so she's got everyone believing she's also from Scranton through the repeated references to local businesses and things like that.

Luckily, Philly and Pittsburgh will likely let Obama carry PA in November, but it's still disheartening to know that people fall for her crap. At least most of PA's problems with Obama aren't racially motivated, like in West Virginia and Kentucky.

Yeah, I hope that's true, but somehow I think Obama could recover by then. I could just see Hillary at the convention 'endorsing' him and urging all her supporters to go for him, and focus the attention away from making her look like a loser.

So add Scranton to the Hillary's Hometown list?

Anyways, Florida doesn't like Obama either. They mentioned it briefly on the news, I think. Something about the minorities there not relating or something.

Actual quote from a Hilary supporter to me today: "What do you mean you're voting for McCain?!? Figures you'd vote for a man. I'm not going to be sexist like you, I'm putting a WOMAN in the white house."

Clinton supporters, remove these people from your ranks.

Also, WV and KY fell in love with her when they found out she represented WalMart as a young lawyer.
