Anybody else notice this? He used to hardly ever smile, squint, have droopy eyes, or any of that. Now he does that stuff all the time! And I'm totally diggin' it. Who else digs it?

Yup, I've noticed.
It tends to happen to a lot of flash cartoons - the people making them tend to get upgraded versions of flash, thus they can do more with it, thus the cartoons get better animation-wise.

It surprised me a little when I saw Strong Bad smile for the first time, but it's pretty cool.

Was I the only one creeped out by his smile? ;)

TBC have almost always used Flash 5 for their animation, so it is probably more related to experience and trying to prevent anything from becoming "stale". :P

Hey!!! Welcome back Princess of Strong Badia!! I was wondering what happened to ya!

Yes, I have noticed Strong Bad's change. I dig it! I love how all the characters are developing both animated and in personality. In my opinion it just makes everything that much more enjoyable. :)

Sorry :-P

Yeah, actually I've noticed a great deal of change in almost all the characters. Homestar frowns and grins a lot more than he used to and Marzipan has shown her teeth at least three times now! The only character that hasn't really changed is the King of Town. :kot:

No, I'm guessing it's because they're planning on changing him next. They seem to change the characters one by one.

yeah! the guy has got a little more emotional, probably because of the fact that he used to be a downright bad guy. Sure, he's still his mean, funny self, but let's face it. His role at evil is getting old. I actually like him this way, too!

No, he's different than he is in the older cartoons. His voice is even a little bit different.
