See, that's another thing. IE encourages you to study/think for yourself. ;)

It is possible to disable Firefox's spell checker.

SFTOTPD! :eekdance:

FireFox is more standardized and professional in my opinion.
FireFox is to WebBrowsers as Linux is to Computers.

What the-?
Forgive my obvious ignorance, but, who is that? Like, the inventor of the Linux Kernel? Or the founder of FireFox?

I looked at the URI. It appears to be a stock photograph.

I'm starting to hate Firefox. First off, it uses like two gigs of memory just to run, and another 50mb for each webpage or something, and its just screwing me over.

What browser uses less memory?

I can't even run Firefox on this computer. It makes every picture in the forum show up as text and replaces some pictures with others.

FireFox runs great with me! I don't see what you people are talking about! If there's one browser I hate though, it's gotta be opera. Specifically, Opera 9.3 . The Opera that you can see on your TV. The Opera that requires you to zoom in all the way to see the text. The opera that has that annoying onscreen keyboard which takes forever to type on. The opera that lets you use a USB keyboard, even though they don't want you to know that. The Opera that doesn't support Java. The opera that I'm using right now! The opera that costs 5 bucks! That's right! It's the Wii's internet channel! Oh, god! Nintendo! What were you guys thinking! Making the internet channel out of Opera! Scrolling with the B button! Making the text so small! Not being able to disable that REDICULOUS onscreen keyboard when using a USB keyboard! Not being able to copy/past! Not supporting Java! Not letting you upgrade the Flash Player! Not including a spell checker! Grrraaahhhh!
OPERA SUCKS TO INFINITY!!!!!!!!!!

PS: Sorry for the long post. I get carried away when I type.
*Sigh*

Opera gets 10 cool points from me for having a BitTorrent client built-in.

Firefox is a great browser, but all the zealous fanboys need to stop trying to convert every God-forsaken IE user they meet.

My FireFox is currently taking 193,560 K of memory use, and my computer needs 50-70% dedicated to this one process.

Wtf

EDIT: Now 202,420 K

You should have got it when it was free. It's one of the better, non-computer internet browsers out there.

I did, but then the "Strongfan's Wii's epic failure" made me exchange it for a new one, thus making me loose all VC games.

You should have linked your Shop Channel account to your My Nintendo account.

I haven't really noticed any performance drops with Firefox 3 so far. However, early next year, Firefox 3.1 is said to correct a lot of memory leak issues found in Firefox 3.0.

I'm pretty sure Opera is pretty darned efficient, if that's what you're looking for.
