So, wait... Won't deleting all these posts make for some nasty phantom-page action in the near-future?

It's kinda like Montana used to be with the no speed limit. If you were being reckless, they'd still cite you.

I never understood reckless... If you're not having and causing wrecks, what's the problem? I'd think reckless is the way we should all be.

Oh hey, it's back.

Man, last night was crazy.

Does this mean the deleted posts are going to come back? 'Cause I liked mine...

Just a half-hour ago I was thinking of these questions I wanted to ask, but couldn't because RT was locked. Now I can't remember what they were.

If they really deleted the posts then there's no way for them to come back. The admins could, if for some reason the wanted to repost the deleted posts themselves and make it so that it looks like other people posted them, but they couldn't change the time at which they were posted, as far as I know.

If they for some reason split and moved the posts to some secret forum, then they could be retrieved. But that takes way too much effort especially with a thread as big as this one.

Well, that makes sense. I guess I'll just repost it then, just for the heck of it.

And here is the post that allows you to do it.

Even though Ozymandius is the largest jerk ever...I can't hate him. And the same with The Comedian. Curse you Alan Moore.

Watchmen. If you don't feel like reading a CLASSIC GRAPHIC NOVEL then heres the biggest spoilers

Quote:
Ozymandias manipulated people and murdered millions in New York City to unite the world with a false alien threat created by him and some authors and artists (which he also killed). The "alien" landed in New York and created the bloodiest set of comic book pages ever. As planned, world peace is attained, and everybody in on it can't tell, even if they know it's right, or else consequences would be worse than half of new York destroyed.

And The Comedian raped Miss Jupiter and killed a pregnant woman in Vietnam. What a guy.

The chances of me reading it are probably low, but I'll skip the spoilers, just in case.

If you do read it, it's really graphic. Sexual content, vulgar language, and lotsa gore.

I don't have to tell you things are bad. Everybody knows things are bad. It's a depression. Everybody's out of work or scared of losing their job. The dollar buys a nickel's work, banks are going bust, shopkeepers keep a gun under the counter. Punks are running wild in the street and there's nobody anywhere who seems to know what to do, and there's no end to it. We know the air is unfit to breathe and our food is unfit to eat, and we sit watching our TV's while some local newscaster tells us that today we had fifteen homicides and sixty-three violent crimes, as if that's the way it's supposed to be. We know things are bad - worse than bad. They're crazy. It's like everything everywhere is going crazy, so we don't go out anymore. We sit in the house, and slowly the world we are living in is getting smaller, and all we say is, 'Please, at least leave us alone in our living rooms. Let me have my toaster and my TV and my steel-belted radials and I won't say anything. Just leave us alone.' Well, I'm not gonna leave you alone. I want you to get mad! I don't want you to protest. I don't want you to riot - I don't want you to write to your congressman because I wouldn't know what to tell you to write. I don't know what to do about the depression and the inflation and the Russians and the crime in the street. All I know is that first you've got to get mad. You've got to say, 'I'm a HUMAN BEING, Gosh darn it! My life has VALUE!'

Rule 6 - BTG
