I believe the correct quote is form John Candy's character, "They've gone to plaid!" I've never seen Star Wars or Star Trek and yet I still love Spaceballs. I can't wait for the sequel.

Eh, whatever. A quote's a quote.

But there's going to be a sequel? Joy! When?

TOTPD! :eekdance:

I think I heard that it's coming out this year! Here's something that might help.

And it better be called 'Spaceballs 2: The Search for more Money!'

Why the huge delay between movies, though? That's what I'd like to know.

And who's playing John Candy's part?

I think that's the reason. They were planning a sequel but then Candy died, and it put a huge halt on it.

John Candy died in 1984, a full seven years after the first Spaceballs came out.

Mel Brooks has never been much for sequels, so he probably never intended for there to be one.

Stanley Kubrick's Clockwork Orange is quite a good movie. But you have to be old and mature enough to watch it.
There's lots of swears and some quite disturbing graphic scenes.

There is so much old Napolean Dynamite praise in this topic it's disheartening

Anyways, let me think. Black Sheep...Spider-Man 2...Pee-Wee's Big Adventure...most of the Frat Pack/Adam Sandler stuff...

Office Space is also good too.

Even *shudder* Crystal Skull?

I feel like posting my top ten favouritest filmages of all time.
Here it is.
1. Children of Men
2. The Prestige
3. American History X
4. Batman Begins
5. Se7en
6. Mononoke Hime (Princess Mononoke)
7. The Blues Brothers - Seriously, why has no one said this yet?
8. Donnie Darko
9. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
10. The Matrix

All these are based on either the feeling of awe after seeing them, or the fact that I could watch all them again and again and never get bored.
And yes, I have made a top 100 personal favourite films list.
And no, they aren't all depressing like most of the ones up in the top ten.
