Pretty good, but it's missing something. 4/5
:sb: Now watch carefully as I pour this full glass of white milk into this cone of newspaper! Huh? Huh? Err... Uh... Does anyone remember what this trick is supposed to do?

Eh, it was okay. Some of the stuff was funny, but the humor was kinda thumped from the release of SBCG4AP. 3/5.

This is a good example of how the Strong Bad Emails have become formulaic. In the Compy era, Strong Bad would have jumped right into taking a saw to Homestar (or trying to) instead of doing his usual cookie-cutter commentary. I mean, I guess it's been needlessly formulaic before, but this time it was noticeably and jarringly so. Come on, guys... Brothers... Chaps... get your heads in the game!

Still a little funny though. "Hate to burst your bubble, man" was my favorite line.

I loved it. Not quite as much as "Your edge", but still. The introduction of the different types of magic was a little long, but it was also funny enough to keep me amused. And when The Cheat came out of Strong Bad's leg, I really laughed out loud because I didn't expect something like that. :-D
The Easter egg wasn't that good, but the rest was hilarious.
(And yes, it would have been nice if SB had done this one the old way as Octan said, but they had to decide for one direction, I guess. They could have made two emails out of it, like how Marvel sometimes makes "What if" comics, but sometimes, you just have to make a choice.)

I completely agree. Strong Bad Emails have been in a steep decline since about the time the DNA Evidence series was wrapped up. I still love the music videos and regular toons, but the emails have become something of a chore. In the infamous words of Mike W.: "Do you remember when you would answer emails and be funny without some sort of gimmick? I do, I miss those days." I miss those days too, Mike.

I found it amusing, particularly Strong Bad's way of reading Agnes's email and his suggestion that they get married.

Yeah, "Hate to burst your bubble" was pretty funny, but I think the comedic timing of that line was a little off.

A pretty funny email, had a few laughs, but like your edge and Next Epi-Snowed before it, not up to its full potential. (Think of what TBC could have done with the whole sawing Homestar in half idea! No, I'm not talking about some Salad Fingers-esque freak show either - the comic potential is there.)

4/5. The rings joke hit home with me, because a magician that used to perform at a fair did that trick ALL THE TIME. And was I the only one that got the "I will not drink, I will not blink, I will not think" joke? HE NEVER BLINKS OR DRINKS IN THE FIRST PLACE. And he obviously doesn't think ;) .

Very funny sbemail. I half to agree with OneGyT though, the timing was a little off with the burst your bubble line. Tons better than your edge: 4thumbsup/5thumbsup.

This sbemail was horrible! This may be an example of one of the reasons they make such long emails on the fanstuff wiki! It might have had some humor, but not enough to keep me interested!

Though, I voted 5/5 because I could. :eekdance:

Sites like this stay on the internet for one reason: This.

I loved the whole Strong Bad's "marriage" with Agnes thing. I was giggling from start to finish. xD

I thought it was a great email, one of my favorites for the first time in a long while. =D

Absolutely loved it, but maybe that's because I'm a big fan of magic (even performing some from time to time. No cups and balls, linking rings, or milk in a cone tricks, though.)

I haven't posted on this forum since early June, and this was good enough to bring me back (at least for one post ...)

FAVORITE PARTS

 Illusion-
:coachz: That saw didn't even touch him! He's pure evil!
The idea of the email.
:sb: Pouring milk into newspaper. "Does anyone know what this trick is supposed to do?"
:hr: :sm: With the very magic trick item Strong Bad was advertising.
:sb: Shoving a squirrel down his pants.
:sb: And now they're separate rings!
:sb: Cups and balls.
:sb: Was this your card?
Mandrake powder!
:cheat: Coming out of Strong Bad's pants.

5/5! This one had me laughing the instant they made fun of flowy sleeved moneygicians like Criss Angel. It's about time somebody did that.

I do like the way Strong Sad goes, "Il-il-il-il-il-loooosion!" Makes me grin whenever I watch that part.

Actually, Criss Angel is not a flowy-sleeved moneygician. He's one of the ones that doesn't actually do any real magic. "Watch, as I lock myself in a box with 47 rabid wolverines and Chuck Norris as it's submerged in molten Life Savers while this helpful volunteer shoots holes in the box with a sawed off shot gun."

I thought it was good. Every part made me laugh.

I'll say 4/5... it was a pretty solid email and wasn't too predictable.

I loved it...Take THAT stupid performance art "street" "Magicians" though it might've been funny to hear SB tell SS that he wasn't going to pull a rabbit out of a hat, but his fist out of SS's face... in that Jr. High style "threat" style of his

I have to agree that it was out of Strong Bad's charecter not to immedeately try and saw Homestar in half, but the formulaic bit was admittedly funny. I liked the "moneygicians" and the Cheat randomly popping out of SB's pants; it's those completly unexpected bits of humor that keep me coming. We even saw a bit of Teen Girl Squad again!

:coachz: I've got plenty of those for my fungus from downungus!

I'm going to have to ask you to leave my parent's basement now.

4/5'd!

Yeah I'd present this one with a 4/5. Definately not one of the best emails, but definately had a few laughes. The sketch of the magician guy made me laugh, and strong bad's trick ruled.

:sb: "Cups and balls"
Magician guy: "BOTH!"

that, and the thing at the end with  was both disturbing and hilarious; specificly when :sb: gets scared and jumps on to the fake  , and SS's belly bounces.

Did anyone else keep getting the creeping jibblies because they were positive TBC, being well-established fans of Batman, could not possibly make it through the email without "making a pencil disappear"?

No? Just me? Okay.

also maybe when he holds up the card that looked pretty much just like that one ad am i right

Strong Bad dressed up as the Joker for Halloween. I seriously can't be the only one who was looking.
