I only got two words to describe this toon that I so meticulously transcribed:

Ex. Dee.

I loved how Homestar and Marzipan looked like a real sitcom couple in the end.

I think this was probably the best thing I have seen in weeks. I can't wait to get home after work to watch it again. Definately a 5/5.

My only real complaint is the lack of Easter Eggs. There's hardly been any easter eggs lately...

OMFG, when Marzipan revealed what this was all for, I loled so hard. XDXD
Quite a weird toon, but extremely funny. Better because I wasn't expecting any toons this week, or the next couple of weeks either. Brilliant!

It was great although I thought last years was better because of its catchy tune.

That was great! The best thing to appear on the site for weeks. Homestar wearing pants! 4/5

This was an awesome and very classic feeling H*R toon!! It made me laugh out loud (which a lot of the H*R toons do not do, only one every now and then accomplishes this feat) when Strong Bad proclaims, "Oh wait, he could die!" hahaha... that bit was good! I also loved the ending.

5/5!!

I realize awhile back I made a post saying that the site had become dull and the golden era was a few years back when we were getting games like PQ and Stinkoman along with great toons. Well lately, I gotta say I think the H*R quality is back to top notch and I'm hoping the trend continues! This is exciting. We got a really good Halloween & Decemberween toon... a 20x6 toon... a new game (which was animated awesomely too), which hopefully will have more roomisodes... we might even finally FINALLY get level 10!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I haven't played 8-bit is Enough yet but that also seems to be good (even tho I know it's not part of the site per say)...

I think we are in another golden era of H*R-ness now! lol. I might just be excited because we got a Decemberween toon when I thought we wouldn't get anything though hahaha.

It seemed really short for some reason, & there were no easter eggs, Homsar, or Senor Cartgage, but you gotta love all the newbackgrounds & costumes & whatnot, wondering when you'll see them again, plus the ending was awesome.

Homestarrunner.com; the REAL reason Halloween & Xmas are the best holidays.

With all the cheesiness and "Strong Bad's lost his edge" jokes, this might be the best Decemberween special ever.

Loved it loved it :D

Doesn't anyone else think the whole T.V. Christmas special was a parody of Stephen Colbert's Christmas Special? The clothes, the piano, the laughtrack, the visitors, I'm pretty sure it was...
I was expecting to see it in the wiki, but I dunno how to edit. Someone should put that there.

Luved it! The Bubs and Coach Z throwing snow outside of the window made me giggle, and Homestar's stunt actually had me excited.

Laughed pretty hard watching this toon. Being somewhat disappointed with some of the recent H*R material, I was pleasantly surprised with this toon. It was freakin' hilarious!

One of the parts that made me laugh the hardest was when Homestar goes "I've never really been good at speeches......" *flies down the hill*

Genius!

Why would you make a parody of a parody of a cheesy Christmas special?

Anyway, I thought it was great! Possibly my favourite Decemberween toon. And the animation is continuing to improve. Did anybody notice Homestar's new mouth shape?

I found the last scene just a little bit too violent, but whatever.

Great toon! Loved Homestar's reason for wanting to kill himself! And the fact that the toon was over 5 minutes!

I want to point out that this is the first Decemberween in four years that did not include any singing. Make of it as you want, but I don't mind the lack of song.

^ Agreed. I've never been too pleased with the songs on the site. They shouldn't quit their day job ;)

I thought that Hooked on Decemberween would be the only present from TBC this year, so I was pleasantly surprised with this toon. The ending actually made me laugh out loud! I have wanted to harm mayself for the excuse of not seeing my family for several years now...

That's some good jones! 5/5'd!

I'm also glad that TBC gave us another D'ween present. I laughed at how cheap the house set was. 4/5

That was a freakin' EPIC xmas 'toon, perhaps the best yet! I nearly burst out laughing when I heard:
:hr: ; Puh! Thats not death-defying entertainment Strong Bad!
:sb: ; (mildly confused) but I wasn't talkin' about death defying.....

I must admit when they started doing a typical spoof of cheesy holiday specials I wasn't expecting any new jokes (i expected bad acting, terrible songs and "Oh, i didn't here you come in") but the Brothers Chaps really pulled through in that department that entire segment stood on its own feet and didn't rely on the tried and true, sorry if I'm to analytical.

As for the rest

I whole heatedly agree. I think because of it being over 5 minutes it had a much thicker plot than say, turkey Tv or something. I guess maybe its because They were doing a big sports event and the cheat helped to cheat it made me feel like watching the older cartoons (jumping jacks and the like)

5/5 :hr: Oh a brown sweater, it's like you read my miiiiind!

Somehow, I think it could've been better...but it's great cause we weren't expecting another toon.

But yeah, now that you mention it, it does seem like a parody of Stephen Colbert's Christmas special, especially with the bad "effects" and overacting, not to mention the effect on Bubs (like when Toby Keith and Willie Nelson sang).

A Homestar Christmas: The Death Defyingest Stunt Present Ever, You Might Want To Step From Back This One When They Open It starring Homestar Runner as Homestarrunner.com and featuring Strong Bad, Marzipan, Coach Z, Bubs, and The Cheat with your Announcer. Airing now as part of Homestarrunner.com's 12 Days Of D'Ween.

Now how's that for a billing?

thought it was quite good 4/5. i got you a soft filter and glitter lens, was a great line.

though i dont think this was a parody of colbert special, rather a parody of christmas specials in general.

The Christmas special was defiantly an homage to a Colbert Christmas.
This was awexome 5/5
