Oh great, what next? Powered By The Poopsmith? Pompom's Answering Machine? Cubeland?
Still, this was sweet, 'specially the end with everyone making comics about everyone. Awesomeness. XD

Gah, the poll's on backwards. That's somewhat unsettling.*

That was awesome! I love parodies of geek culture! Unless they're really poorly done and the writer has no idea what they're parodying. Which doesn't seem to be the case here. The ending with Strong Bad falling out of his chair was fairly predictable once it became clear that both the Teen Girl Squad and the 4 Gregs were making comics about each other.

And I didn't know how American football was played. Interesting.

The second best part, after the toon being entertaining, is that I don't feel like I'm betraying my principles by being underwhelmed by the latest toon. Which is what's been happening lately with hremails.

*An observation, not a complaint.

This has to be one of the funniest things they've ever done, seriously.

He mentioned Akihabara nyo! We all know what that's referencing nyo!

I quite liked this one, simply because it wasn't really as predictable as most other Girl Squads since it strayed from the format a bit. Not that I'm saying I don't like TGS. :eekdance:
But I still think SB falling out of his chair was gold. And Japanese Culture Greg contstantly saying okatisu or whatever made me laugh.

EDIT: I uploaded a screenshot from the toon! Hooray!

Missed an extremely easy sight gag with Japanese Culture Greg who should have been 2 Greg, but other than that, totally awesome.

The ending messed with my mind just about as much as it did with SB's. Good toon. It does make me sad, though, that someone with as cool a name as "Open Source Greg" had to be such a dork. And evil, too, what with making denial-of-service attacks. (Anyone suppose he might actually be the NSMC vandal?) But still, funny stuff.

A few entertaining moments throughout. The very end saved it for me, at least from being a total wash.

5/5 one of the best things I've seen on the site.

Oops, I accidentally voted 2 instead of 4 because the poll is upside down. :-(

It was all right. I was rather perturbed by Open Source Greg wanting to go to the Apple Store, though. :p

No, he was trying to say how evil and dangerous the football game was by saying it was "the apple store", the same way the other Gregs were calling it a (robotic) dragon's lair.

Also 4/5 mostly for the ending

Gah, I know waaaay too many people just like Japanese Culture Greg in real life. Oy.
The toon was really great though. I like when they do offbeat stuff.

That you think the name "Open Source Greg" is cool is pretty much evidence of why the character looked the way it did :p

What kind of paper is that? Looks like a beehive.

I voted 5/5! I hope they do more of those guys. They're hilarious! I like how Japanese Culture Greg's face gets all crazy when he shouts something Japanese! He goes like :stinko: !

It was pretty funny. Japanese Culture Greg brought back memories of watching Yu-Gi-Oh. *shudders*

According to the wiki, it's the kind of paper that role-play games are played on.

Narrator Strong Bad: STINKOMAN'D!
^Like that?

Out of all the TGS series, this and TGS Tenth Issue-versary are my two favorites. This just contains so much awesome, especially the part at the end with the Gregs and the Teen Girls Squad girls drawing each others' comics. I seriously lol'd at that part. Especially towards the end, when they were shouting random-but-in-character phrases at each other. And then Strong Bad, trying to draw all this, falls on the floor. I wonder, though... If Strong Bad had barely enough energy to say "It's...over?", who drew the end frame for 4 Gregs? Did the Gregs do it? Was it the TGS girls? Or was it someone else in Free Country USA? Probably not The Cheat, because it didn't look PBTC'd.

And disturbingly, I understood most of the stuff that Japanese Culture Greg was saying, without having to look at the Explanations section. But the football explanation... No idea whaaaaaatsoever.

Oh crap... Don't ever make Powered by The Poopsmith, TBC... please... Unless it's an Easter egg in a normal PBTC toon. Then it would be okay. But please not a full toon.

Narrator Strong Bad: TOO NASTY TO DRAW!!!

That was totally wicked! I have no idea how I could possibly explain this to my non-H*R friends, though: "It's a cartoon written by by a cartoon that was written one of the main charecters which was written by TBC... get it?"

I know I'm going to sound like Japanese Culture Greg, but the end part seriously reminded me of the recap episode of Martian Successor Nadesico where the characters from the show within the show were watching the show.

Definitely one of the best toons on the site!

That was actually pretty good, and better than I expected. I liked how at the end everyone was drawing the comic, then Strong Bad got all knocked-out and confused by it. (He wasn't the only one who was confused...)

PS: My favorite of the Gregs was "Japanese Culture Greg", being very fond of said culture.

YATTA!

Do you think JCG would be into Sgt. Frog? That came from Japan.

Wait, so 4 Gregs were drawn by Teen Girl Squad, who were drawn by 4 Gregs, who were drawn by Teen Girl Squad, who were drawn by 4 Gregs, who were drawn by Teen Girl Squad, who were drawn by 4 Gregs, who were drawn by Teen Girl Squ - *maimed*

Good stuff.

Great.

I can't really say anymore. Not only was the 'toon itself great, but we got a new Teen Girl Squad short.

I give it a 4, because I reserve 5s for those that are perfect, and awesome as this is, it isn't perfect.

I do take umbrage with the description of "Open Source Greg" as a warez d00d and cracker. Also, Bittorent isn't used entirely for theft, there are legitimate uses as well.

However, I realize that the toon was intended to portray the stereotypes of these subcultures and not the actual truths. And that is done very well, so 4/5.

(I loved the severe beatdown of Normal Greg from AP Calculus. That made my day.)

Anyone try going to tompkins.tv? It links back to the toon and its Wiki page.
