I thought we should have 16 discs (yes its a lot)

Sbemail Discs 1-6
Disc with 2000 toons or earlier
Disc with 2001 toons
Disc with 2002 toons
Disc with 2003 toons
Disc with 2004 toons
Disc with 2005 toons
Disc with 2006 toons
Disc with 2007 toons
Disc with 2008 toons
Bonus Disc with 2009 toons so far, A finished version of tis true, pom pom, tis true, etc.

It would cost about $50-60 and each disc would have a different theme

Everybody knows 16 is a lot of discs but the save could be cram-packing them, each disc but the last. The last disc is ALL Bonus Features.

Probably
(Note: Everything in the set with Qs means all in the quarter Q1 20-- to Q4 20-- (the same year) means the entire year)
Discs 1-6: All 200 Sbemails
Disc 7: Super NES-Q4 2002 (Non-Sbemail)
Disc 8: Q1 2003-Q1 2004 (Non Sbemail)
Disc 9: Q2 2004-Q2 2005 (Non Sbemail)
Disc 10: Q3 2005 - Q4 2006 (Non Sbemail)
Disc 11: Q1 2007-Q1 2008 (Non Sbemail)
Disc 12: Q2 2008-Present (Non Sbemail)
Disc 12: Bonus Disc, with our Bonus features we have talked about

I think it should also contain the toon versions of the Original Book and Where My Hat Is At, too.

Don't you mean Disc 13? And it should also contain the actual bonus features from the actual DVDs, too, unless, of course, we can figure out how to logically position them.

Anyway, I will now make an interpretive view of Discs 7 through 12, content and all, at least one disc per post here. Here is the first non-email disc:

Well, having thirteen discs makes a Lappy 486 case much more plausible than before. (It actually could have worked with the old 12-disc set, but I haven't figured it out until now) It should open and close like a real laptop. When it's closed, the front picture will be this:
Image

And the back of the case will be this:
Image
(it's not the front cover because Homestar Runner is too hard to find in it)

Opened up, the monitor would really be a pocket containing either a binder holding the Strong Bad Email DVDs or a digipak holding 2 Sbemail DVDs in each tray. The keyboard would be a pocket containing a binder or digipak holding the Everything Else and Bonus DVDs. The insert listing the toons and bonus features will be included in the same pocket as the Strong Bad Email DVDs (because I think Homestar should be the first character you see when you open a Homestar Runner DVD case) and will be written in the style of a TV Time magazine, except this will be the picture:
Image

The only way I can think of packaging the History of Homestar Runner book with it would be to package both the DVD Lappy case and the book inside a bigger box, like when The Twilight Zone: Season One DVD and The Twilight Zone Companion were packaged together.

I think there should be an animated music video of Salsa Commodity's "Tribute to Homestar Runner".

Disc 10: TV Themed
Disc 11: Old-Timey Themed
Disc 12: 20X6 Themed
Disc 13: Children's Books Themed
Disc 14 (Bonus Disc): Store Themed

No, that's fourteen discs, counting the bonus disc. Unfortunately, that means again that something would have to be eliminated. The only thing I can think of is Sweet Cuppin' Cakes. Once again, thereafter, the themes would be edited accordingly. Here's how they should be done:

Disc 7: Original Book theme (to reference the early stuff)
Disc 8: Old school video game theme (probably Atari)
Disc 9: TV theme
Disc 10: Old-Timey theme
Disc 11: 20X6 theme
Disc 12: Party theme
Disc 13: Store theme (bonuses)

Anyway, here's the eleventh disc:

Disc 11: Q1 2007 - Q1 2008
CONTENT
  1. Teen Girl Squad Issue 12
  2. The King of Town's Very Own Quite Popular Show!
  3. Marzipan's Answering Machine Version 14.2
  4. Drive-Thru
  5. An Important Rap Song
  6. Date Nite
  7. DNA Evidence
  8. One Two, One Two
  9. Teen Girl Squad Issue 13
  10. Ever and More!
  11. Quality Time
  12. Marshie vs. Little Girl
  13. Jibblies 2
  14. Fan Costumes '07
  15. Rap Song
  16. Toikey TV
  17. Happy Dethemberween
  18. Trogday 08
  19. Sloshybowl
  20. Sickly Sam's Big Outing
  21. Marzipan's Answering Machine Version 15.2
  22. Blubb-O's Commercial
  23. Limozeen Live!
  24. Rotten Eggs

BONUS
  • Audio commentaries on all toons
  • The Limozeen Advantage
  • These Peoples Try To Fade Me
  • "Where The Cheat Is At?" game
  • Eggs
  • Limozeen vs. Sloshy
  • Puppets, Little Girls and Outtakes
  • Non-Sequitur Champion

And here's the twelfth disc (which is incomplete):

Disc 12: Q2 2008 - Q1 2009
CONTENT
  1. The Homestar Runner Gets Something Stuck In His Craw
  2. Teen Girl Squad Issue 14
  3. Play Date
  4. Somber Vacation
  5. The Baloneyman
  6. The Next Epi-snowed
  7. Trudgemank
  8. Costume Commercial
  9. Most In the Graveyard
  10. Fan Costumes '08
  11. Dangeresque: Puppet Squad
  12. Twenty THANXty Six
  13. Coach Z's 110%
  14. A Death-Defying Decemberween
  15. Hremail 62
  16. Hremail 2000
  17. Best Caper Ever
  18. 4 Gregs

BONUS (also incomplete)
  • Audio commentaries on all toons
  • "If I Don't Get Video Games" music video

I decided to eliminate the "Limozeen vs. Sloshy" and "Hooked On Decemberween" song toons (since they're available for download, anyway) and instead just use their respective Easter eggs (the Limozeen vs. Sloshy quickie and Brainkrieg's "Video Games" music video, respectively).

Next time, we can pour in our ideas for the bonus disc, not forgetting to describe some of the toons themselves.

I think the Chapman documentary should be 40-60 minutes. I decided to make the claymation short an actual part of it instead of a separate bonus feature.

If the discs are kept in digipaks instead of binders, the Lappy-style case's pockets need to become more like slipcases.

I was thinking it was more like a boxset, A case for Sbemails, and one for Everything Else.

Strong Bad Email: It is shaped like the Lappy, but in a different Ratio, so you can fit it on your Shelf. As For the discs inside, It should be like Supernatrual S1, I think. you, It's Like a Book on the First One it Shows Disc 1 & 2 overlapping, one the side where the front cover was, it shows It's Content, But like how Tropic Thunder did it, vertically. and one the Back of the Bonus Sbemail Disc. It's laid out like the floppy disc container*

Everything Else: Introducing each disc in the digipack is the blue thing, like in the Intro, only red.

*It's Still a Digipack

:sb: Umm... that was confusing.

So, I completely reconfigured my Lappy DVD case so that it's just the monitor and digipaks containing the DVDs slide in and out of the top. The pictures on the front and back are the same, but with borders to make it more like a monitor.

Strong Bad Emails:
[*]The discs are overlapping
[*]The picture when you're taking the disc out is the floppy disc Container
[*]The Lappy's screen is the front cover, rather than it being to wide, it's the size of A DVD case

Everything Else:
[*]A red border like the one in the H*R Intro, only red in the discs
Understand That.

Looks like I'm gonna have to jump write the Bonus Disc contents. Let me know if I forgot any, but keep in mind some may have merged or moved to other discs:
  • Awesomer Than You: The Story of the Brothers Chaps
  • Progression Reels
  • The War For the Star
  • Unfinished Toons
  • 16 Character Videos (3 for Homestar, 2 for Marzipan, and 1 each for everyone else including Senor Cardgage)
  • Run its Course: Reflections on the Series Finale

Why Not Have the "Dufus" and "Are Not" as the Character Videos, and "Moron", "Lionel Richie" and "Are" as Easter Eggs?

Because I prefer the Lionel Ritchie video to the Dufus one? On a more serious note, I don't think Marzipan's "today we are" video would be as good if you removed everything that happens in between "yay" and "boo".

Pretty Much, that's What I Meant: Have one of the multiple, and the others as Easter Eggs (In Whole). It feels akward choosing a Character Video on what is (for the most part) the same.

I think it would feel even weirder to get an Easter Egg that's practically the same as the toon you just watched.

Here's something I would like to see: Here's How We Choose 'em. Simply put, this would be a look at how the Brothers Chaps pick and choose the Halloween costumes for the Homestar characters to wear in the Halloween toons.

Pom Pom: Pom Pom walks over to Strong Bad
:sb:: I got your call
:pom:: bubble
:sb:: Could I have one, they're hot.
:pom:: bubbles in agreement and pulls out a Strawberry Pop Tart
:sb:: Thanks, Man.
Strong Sad: it says 3 hours later at the bottom
: ...And I got to this one man, he was my cousin, and asked if I could have my face boiled, and he said I'll get 20 bucks for it, and I did it and he just gave me a nickel. And then there was this one time...
Strong Mad:
:sm:: I'M STRONG MAD! I'M STRONG MAD!...
{beep}
:sm:: ...I GOT A SOCK PUPPET, HIS NAME CHERRY....

Or it could just say "pause" and automatically take you back. Do Homestar Runner DVDs usually include functional "again" buttons at the end of every toon?

That sounds like a complete destruction of Mike (and probably also Matt) Chapman's vision! X-(

You made Homestar even dumber and more obnoxious, and he would never sing in a high-pitched voice!
