And what are you so upset about, Big Fan? Why don't you just let people have their own opinions and you have yours. Don't get mad about it. And expecially don't make yourself look like an immature noob.

TOTPD :eekdance:

HBF, have you read the rules?

They were all contributing to the topic, not ganging up against you.

If you really want more Homsar, as you said in your first post, then why do you change your mind when a few people disagree? That's just plain stupid.

Homsarsbigfan, consider this a warning. Quadruple posting is definitely not allowed, and yelling is not a good way to make friends around here. It's considered spam, and won't be tolerated. If you think the thread should be locked, PM a mod to ask them to do it. Otherwise, just ignore it, and don't come back to it.

You know we have a wiki, right?

Everything you could ever want to know about Homsar is already on there.

I like him, but we only need to see him every once in awhile, or it gets old quick.

No, no, no.

An "unofficial" character would be unnamed girl or homeschool.

an "official" character means one oficialy used nad named on the site.

Sterrabce for example

Homsar is way more "oficcial" than sterrance!!

True dat. :p

Anyway, I voted "no" because I think that we have the right amount of him right now. And, like other people, I probably wouldn't like him as much if was used constantly.

thats not what official means. Official means authorized, for example: the fhqu-ma-jib duck thing is NOT an official H*R character.

One 'toon with just Homsar woud be nice, but only one. Either that, or more appearences on the site.

He already has a toon, and it's called the Homsar Characters page. That's all we need.

Homsar appears randomly and just says some funny line.

In rampage, he was randomly one of the only 2 who watched Gron sad's "rampage" and... Caramel corn? teehee.

Its Fhqwhgads. Say it with me fuh huguh whu gads. Now faster Fhqwhgads.

[backontopic]There's a difference between an official character and a main character. Basically everyone on the site's an official character. Of these characters only 12 are main characters. This is because they have character videos. I suppose they could make a toon with more homsar in it but it would just be a larger supplement to the other completely usable ain characters.[/backontopic] I'd rather have a Pom-Pom toon.

What you said is exactly true. If they appeared on the site just once, like Homeschool, then they are an official character.

That is also very true.

I don't think Homsar should have more appearances. I like him, but I don't see what's so great about him. All he does is just stand there and say stuff that doesn't mean anything.

I voted no, because I think Homsar is best in small doses. I wouldn't mind it at all if he was in every Big Toon (hopefully as a brief easter egg), but he shouldn't, for instance, have his own toon. I think he's more interesting the less we know about him. There are other members of the Big Twelve, as I call them, who are much more neglected than our friend Homsar. Pom Pom f'rinstance.

i'd say no, because if he became like homestar or strong bad, he'd become less funny...he and senor cardgage are the types of characters who are about as sensible as a dry cleaner plastic bag...um...don't know where that came from..but anyway, if homsar was a regular, the senslessness would lose its greatness...it'd be
"there's homsar.." instead od "OH! there's homsar"..see, the OH! is a must.

I also vote no, because Homsar is far and away my favorite portion of the site, and if they start throwing him in randomly he'll lose his appeal.

To be perfectly honest I'd love to see Homsar eliminated ENTIRELY from the main portion of toons aside from the two emails where he's mentioned specifically. Aside from that I'd like him limited solely to easter eggs. I had an awesome time a while ago before finding the Wiki where I tried to see how many places I could find Homsar. Like he was the site's little secret or something, that weird cousin that's kept hidden away so most people don't see him.

Plus, if he's just easter eggs, he can be quick shots instead of full scenes. To be perfectly honest, I hate the email "other town" just because of Homsar's involvement. Didn't like it.

Just my two cents!

I think we get just about the right amount of Homsar. He stays funny this way. More would be too much of an awesome thing.

I voted yes, but only because Homsar hasn't been in any of the latest toons, save Career Day, when he said one line. I don't think he should have his own toon, but he deserves to appear again some time soon. That's just what I think :hr: .

Like otheres have said, homsar is best in small doses. An easter egg where you have to click the poopsmith, that sort of thing. A full length episode would just get old so quickly that you probably wouldn't even be able to stay interested until the end. The main problem is that he is undeveloped as a character; one dimensional, I suppose. All he does is appear, say something almost incomprehensably, then leave. Sometimes he does this in stopped time, so the other characters don't even notice. And with a character like that, you just can't build a story around them. It wouldn't go anywhere. And it is unlikely that TBC will ever develop him into a character, because he is funny the way he is now. If they tried to develop him further, he would cease to be funny because the randomness wouldn't work in the same way, it would just be a side thing that gets in the way of what would probs be an inferior character.

They don't put Homsar in too many toons, but when he is in one he is great!

But yeah, I could see TBC doing a Homsar Music Video then not showing Homsar again for a while.

You know, there is already a Homsar song, but not made by TBC or Y.O.U. It's made by a band that likes Homsar. It's called 'He's Homsar!'. Just clicky, clicky!
