Does anyone else find Strong Bad's voice more irritating than usual in these games? It makes me cringe every time I play a Fun Machine game or "Trogdor's 3D-Ungeon", but not when listening to "Strong Bad's Rhythm 'n Grammar".

I think Marzipan's voice sounds really different; I'm fine with Strong Bad's.

Marzipan sounds about the same to me.

My brother said Marzipan sounded different, but I didn't agree with him.

Strong Bad's voice has like a drag and sort of a schreech

I imagine that recording that much dialogue for Strong Bad (and everyone else!) put a major strain on Matt's voice. Afterall, clicking on anything prompts some witty dialogue, plus cutscenes, 'standing around' dialogue, hints, bonus stuff ... that's a lot of gruff, manly voicing going on!

I found Homestar's voice a little odd, a bit more 'natural' than usual and less cartoony.

I agree; also, it might have been on purpose, because of the whole "snot" joke, but I thought Homestar sounded more nasaly than usual in Homestar Ruiner.

I didn't quite notice any difference, but I agree that voice strain does make sense. Five games worth of voice-acting is like, twenty toons worth. For ALL the characters (with the exception of Marzipan). That would definitely start to get tiring after a while.

When I first played this game, I though Strong Bad sounded the same, but Marzipan, she just sounded...diffirent. My cousin doesn't agree with me, though.

I think it's the sound quality, but that's just me.

I always find that all the voices sound slightly different in any medium other than the webiste, such as the CD, the DVDs or the games. Just a slight difference, mind you.

Marzipan's voice was DEFINITELY different. I couldn't find any difference between anyone else, though.

As said before, I only notice a minor difference due to higher sound quality.

Strong Bad's voice is a lot more gruff. You're right. Higher sound quality is NOT good for Strong Bad.

I disagree, about sound quality for Strong Bad. It's probably because we are so used to all of the characters being in low sound quality on the site. Because if you play, I dunno, one of the tunes that have a high sound quality with one that doesn't (and they both have Strong Bad in it.) There's not much of a difference between the voices... Yup, it's most likely the sound quality.
As for SBCG4AP I did not notice any major difference. (Except for Strong Sad)
