Looks like they just barely put it up. I'm glad they brought the show back. I gives it 4/5 Homestars.

Just classic weird homestar. "Chant words together" made me laugh... again.
As well as no paint daubs, and homestar mad between two mountains.
I say 4/5.
Nice job to the carvers too!

Great "punkins" and non-sequitor Homestar on The Show. A winning combination!

4.5/5

pretty good 3/5. That was a pretty impressive thy-dungeon man pumpkin. Defiantly not a paint daub.

"CHANT WORDS TOGETHER!" might still be my favourite line on the site, glad to hear it again. :P
Pretty impressive punkins, guys, particularly the DO YOU HAS? one. And woo, no paint daubs.

Homestar wouldn't like it if you used paint daubs.

Y'know, it seems to me that some toons are making references to the years in which they were released. Homestar said 2009 in this year and "2006 Coach Z logo," which was first seen in Redesign (released in 2006, by the way).

There are other examples of such instances as well.
Sb_Email 22 shows 2002 on a newspaper, Impression has 2003 on a banner, Strong Bad mentions "Who Put Pasta Salad In Strong Mad's Underdrawer Drawer Scare of '04" in Old Comics, Strong Sad says, "It's not called TrogdorCon and it's 2005," Strong Bad says "All my Strong Bad doppelgangers represent...sesquicenten-email...2005, I mean, 6" at the end of Alternate Universe," Strong Bad mentions 2007 in Strong Badathlon, and in Environment, Strong Bad says "I'm chicky checkin' emails in 2008..." There's many more, but I'll just stop there. I think you get the idea.

I'm considering starting an article about all that stuff. Would that be all right? If so, what should the title be?

I'm surprized there weren't more.
I wish I could have made one. I've never carved a pumpkin before...

I thought the one on the RSS feed was really neat. It was probly my favorite. And then the one with the carved Bubs inside the carved consession stand. The multiple pumpkin effects are pretty clever.

Awwww Snap! I loved all the punkins, and I was stoked that they used mine! I did the striped green rabbit with two butts, and I was shocked when I got an e-mail saying I was a winner. I mean, it was old school but not technically a difficult design.

I love watching Homestar on the show. Doing pumpkins and costumes this year was a great idea. Double the fun for us fans in one week!

Like the RSS description says, there wasn't really any decided formula used for this. I found it pretty disjointed and random, and not in the good way. The only thing I thought was kinda funny was the mutilated Homestar pumpkin, but even that was a bit awkward in its delivery. But I guess the point of this thing was really just to announce the winners, so humor wasn't much of a priority. I'm probably sounding way too over-analytical about this tiny, unimportant cartoon, so I'll stop typing now.

What did you win when it said who the winners were at the end of the toon?

I wish it would have shown a few more that weren't winners...like other good ones maybe...? But that's the only reason I give this 4/5 instead of 5/5. I love The Show so much! :D

5/5! Maybe I'm biased because my punkin got picked.

Wingaling Homestar... or as he said:
"Angry homestar between two mountains!!!" lol

Winners got $20 for the online store. I haven't been to their store for a while, and was kinda disapointed to find most all of the cool stuff is gone. No more Kick The Cheats, only a couple of hoodies. Slim pickens on shirts... oh whell. Looks like I'll get the DVD's!

Without further Mountain Dew...

Okay so nevermind hremails I think The Show would be a pretty good regular feature (regular as in as regular as Marziman's Answerving Machine and the other stuff). I like how it randomly flips around to various references, as a type of "all things" show.

I just like oddtastic, nonsensical stuff like that. "And finally, everyone in today's audience gets to have to give me five bucks!"

I had the exact same thought about the store, too! Lol. How bittersweet to win twenty bucks at the store, but the selection is so sparse? Oh well, at least getting our names on the sight was hella tight. Great job on your wing-a-ling Homestar, and congrats!

Oh, I just cant get it to work!

It cunfused me when I first saw it. I thought I would be like the fan costume ones. You know, lots o pictures and than the top four or five get shown at the end. but this one... I just don't like it.

3/5 (only because of NO PAINT DAUBS! and the return of the show)

5/5! The Carve-nival references were inevitable, but great nonetheless.

Ehh...Strong Bad's Costume Commentary was better.

Did nobody notice my observation of toons making references to the years in which they were released? Hmm, maybe the title 'References to Years in which Toons were Released' would work. Any thoughts?
