I remember that someone was reciting "Valfor the Urinator" which entirely ripped off Trogdor's theme.

Also, the guy reciting it to me had no idea what it was referencing.

Least expected reference? Guitar Hero 2. No one I've met has been cool enough to know what HR is.

I was riding through town the other day when I noticed a restaurant called "The Red Raddish"

I was playing Guitar Hero Encore: Rocks the 80s about a year ago with a cousin, and when I selected "Because, it's Midnite", I didn't even realize it was from Homestar Runner until I played it. Play the song in Expert Mode IF YOU DARE.

the geddup noise seems to be hiding out in my school, in a band music stand. I moved it and it made that strange kinda sound

- My seventh-grade advisory teacher's boyfriend was listening to Trogdor on his iPod (he also cycled though the entire Strong Bad Sings album, glad he had the headphones cranked up to the max).
- One friend of mine was wearing a Strong Bad hoodie
- You won't believe me on this one. On my way back from school (I was a car rider that day), every car around me had a H*R bumper sticker.
- One of my friends went as Homestar for Halloween.
- You also won't beleive me on this one. When I visited Paris, I saw a whole group of people (probably 5 or 6 people) wearing some sort of H*R t-shirt (I remember Strong Bad, Homestar's Star Shirt, The Pizz, & The Cheat, don't remember the rest of them).

I was knocked off the stage during the solo, too bad it didn't make GHSH.

I was watching a video on YouTube that dealt with balloons, and one of the keywords was "bloon".

My life making:
Today in Tech Ed, a sub was in. We were learning about safety before we went to the wood shop. The sub was talking about the air catching on fire if you aren't careful, and, probably not expecting anyone to get the reference, said,"In other words, burnination." Me being a Homestar Runner fan, I said,"Burninating the countryside, burninating the peasants." He said, "Thank you Trogdor." I screamed,"YES! FINALLY SOMEONE WHO UNDERSTANDS ME!"
He seemed really smart, talking in big words and stuff.
Made my life.

There was this website called Rockman EXE Online, which covered the
anime for Megaman Battle Network, and the page for the villain characters
had "BALEETED!" on an image of Wily.

I was in my P.E class, and my teacher for P.E plays music. We were playing Beehive (It's hard to explain, I might explain it later.) when the STINKOMAN LEVEL ONE THEME CAME ON!
I was clapping and dancing along...
When the song stopped.
(Man, that thing's short!)
The next line I said to my P.E teacher was:
"I didn't know you had Stinkoman on your jukebox!"

I just got Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story. A few Monty Moles were underground, building a hole to Toad Town. It was called Project K. Sound familiar? It did to me. I just got it. I'm not sure if it was related on purpose, but STILL.

One of my friends, whom I had never thought of as the :hr: .com fan-type, recently changed her Facebook profile picture to the "wave o' babies" upon learning that three of her friends were expecting.

I heard a chiptune called "Yummy Pizza" made in 2002, and it sounds alot like the theatre trivia music from "the movies". One would say the theatre music was taken from that SID tune.

Alright, I was in class the other day, while we were making a persuasive essay on our favorite superhero. I was gonna pick something totally different, and then my friend who I had know Idea he knew about homestar yells out "I'm gonna do mine on Stinkoman!!!" I laughed my face off, then helped him draw pan-pan on the back. STINKOMAN FTW!

The bassist for our band got his guitar covered in water at a gig... he just turned to me with this sad look in his eyes and said "My bass feels... seaworthy"

I could have screamed with joy.

In the "Sesame Street Old School: Volume 2" DVD, one of the episodes has funding credits written in the exact same font used for the main page and toon menu loading screens.

I came across this warning on Engrish.com and recognized the picture immediately.

Really, who could possibly expect to find an H*R reference in a pack of Austrian batteries!

Man, I wish that would happen to me.

But NOO, the closest thing I have to not expecting someone to know Homestar Runner is on ROBLOX's Off Topic forum, even then only 3 or more people besides me know H*R.

Last Friday I was at school with a bunch of Homestar Runner drawings I had done the other night. I took them out at lunch so I could let my friend, Jamikal, see them. We sit with the high schoolers and there's this one guy named Eli (Higgenbotham XD) who said,
"Hey that's Trogdor!" (I had drawn a :trogdor: )
I was like, O_O
Then he started doing some Homestar Runner impressions (that were pretty good)
It was awesome. I didn't expect anyone in my ghetto freaking school to recognize anything Homestar related. I think we might be best friends now :3

If anyone wants to see my Trogdor -> http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/alb ... 0742917474

One time, my older sister referred to her MacBook as a "Lappy," which is strange since the number of Homestar Runner cartoons she's seen is probably in the single digits. She laughed when I told her where I heard the term before, though.

Okay, I was washing windows for a service project, and the squeegee when it went on a dry part sounded exactly like the Geddup noise!

Okay, I've had two things happen since this last post. ONe isn't all special, but the other is AMAZINGLY coincedental. Okay, first off the not so big one. I've lived in the same house for four or five years, but I just barely noticed this. I look up one day, and the ventilation systen (since my basement is unfinished) say galvinized and "usage of galvinized nails". Now I know a lot of things are galvinized, but it made me happy. The second one is CRAZY! My cousin just opened up a Bakery named "Cheat Day". It's supposed to be cheating on the weight watchers plan (You have a day to "Cheat") but it's Crzy scary. Also, look them up, you might find a cake you like!

Wow, this thread's been doing better than I thought it would! :D

Well, back in april, I was at my friend KT's birthday. On her card, I had drawn TROGDOORR with the message: I Hope you have a birthday free of burnination! or something like that.

When she saw it, she immediately yelled for her brother (who introduced her to H*R) and he was very impressed.

BUT, that wasn't the 'least expected' part.

Throughout the present opening, some of the other guests on the couch (mostly guys I talk to here and there) started singing both 'the S is for sucks *clap clap*' and 'TROGDOOORR.'

I was pretty surprised that KT and I weren't the only fans there!

An old high school chum of mine (married + kid, living in Japan of all places now) told me he was having "Lappy trouble". I couldn't believe it. That term has definitely entered the geek lexicon. He had never heard of H*R before I pointed out the popular origin of the term...
