Ok on the FAQ's page of the site someone asks when the dvd asks, and well the answer is some time in 2004. Are they talking about the yello dello/kot dvd? or are the TBC planning on releasing a dvd with some really cool stuff and a commentary? FOR ONLY 19.99?

We don't know what's on the DVD. I'm kind of assuming that it's just a ton of cool stuff. I doubt they'd release a DVD with only Dello and KoT. And I also doubt it'll only be $20. But I dunno.

The "Retail Opportunities" page on the Homestar Store says that the DVD will contain the first 100 Strong Bad Emails.

The H*R guys came to visit my university this past spring and they featured alot of stuff that they said was going to be on the DVD... :bubs:

It was pretty cool...seems like there's going to be music videos, puppet shows, SB emails, special toons....I'm not sure if this one is on there but if anyone grabbed the Strong Bad Sings CD and listened to Homestar's Secret Song at the end of the last track then you'll appreciate the super-hilarious music video that has Homestar "playing" the piano. :mrgreen:

I don't know.. I like the sb emails and all, but I've already seen all of the first 100 emails maybe like 30-40 times each. If the dvd is only just the first 100 emails, I don't think I'd be rushing out to get it. If it is mostly new material that's not available on the website, well then.. that could be a whole different ballgame.

I wonder how they would do easter eggs? I thought you could only usually do those during dvd menus and not during the cartoon/movie itself.

Direct from TBC:

I called TBC on tuesday and talked to them about the site and i learned some stuff about the long-awaited DVD:

1. DVD has first 100 emails along with 3 new ones
2. Each disk will have about 20 minutes of bonus stuff (movies, art, etc.)
3. Its about done
4. Its coming in...OCTOBER!!!

I also learned the waffle shirt was ditched because of the idea that waffle house might sue.

I hope you all enjoy this BIG news break and any new info i get about the site i will tell you guys about!!!

sorry buddy...no can do...for this reason: they know i am a huge fan of their work and they know i am loyal to them. i wouldn't feel right going around telling random fans their phone number!! i do have friends where i live who can tell you i'm not lying and i also have a moderator one the homestarrules forums they can tell you that also...personally i don't care if you don't belive me because i know i'm not lying and either way you will see for yourself soon enough!
