Oh my god i WANT THIS SO MUCH. The only problem is I've been saving for SB overkill combo, and I just got enough for the old version, but I can't afford this one.

Uh... the commentary is usually funnier than the actual cartoon?

So one of the SB images on the cover is of him as Space Captainface. But what is the other one? Probably Teenage Strong Bad?

I've been waiting for this one. It has the first cartoons I watched when I first got into Homestar. The first e-mail I saw was Geddup Noise, which made no sense and I figured it just would make sense better if I watched a previous episode.

By the time I got back to Geddup Noise I was a changed man. The quirky humor Homestar has made me realize the whole point was that it made no sense.

...Actually...It might not actually be the first e-mail I saw--I keep forgetting if I had seen Trogdor before or not, but it's the first e-mail I can 100% recall seeing. Good times.
Sick Day was definitely the first thing on the site I watched when I started getting into Homestar, though, and that's already on DVD, so that's null and void either way and my anticipation makes no sense. D:

Either way, this has a lot of ones I want to rewatch but never force myself into, and now I have the motivation for it. Bedtime Story is the bomb, too. I lubbs that one. And the missing lappy stuff. Do you think the Missing Lappy short will be an easter egg somewhere on the disc?

So this morning I logged onto the internet, wondering if there was no update this week because the new DVD was about to be released. And... it was. Sweet mother of mystery!

Anyway, I'm going to order it very soon, but I might be in Tasmania when it comes.

Hmm, It's been exactly more than two days (48 hours) since we found out about the DVD release, and someone in the world must have used the quick-mail option and should have the DVD by now. I suppose we should still let time elapse.

I was one of the first to get Everything Else 2 here, if I remember, and I assume the same will happen here. Yay info-dropping.

EDIT 6/09: Wow, speak of the devil, I just got it.

The back of the DVD has Strong Badman on it. And the "interactive menus" joke is continued.

I hate to double post, but I'd like to bump it so people can know there's something new here. :-[ As with the last DVD, here's-a what's in it.

Good ol' The Chate as the 4rt b4ndit shows up on the copyright screen.

The 3D scene thing is a cute thing of Homestar running with the Everybody music playing. Strong Bad watches this on the Lappy (assumably, it's the website or something) deletes it. IT'D MAKE A GOOD NEW INTRO PAGE.

Sbemail 150?!? and Lappynapped are on there in the Bonus Stuff. Sbemail 150?!? has commentary. In Lappynapped, the easter egg's already activated.

No easter eggs in Coloring. They didn't even put together some sort of "Strong Bad reads the coloring book" or nothing.

The other bonus things besides the Bonus Email are E-Mail Intros and "160 Seconds", where they tape together the 1st second from the first e-mail, 2nd second from the second e-mail, and so on, all the way up to 160. The end result is actually pretty amusing.

I just ordered the SB overkill combo. I would do that "yay" emoticon, but I'm at school so I don't have greasemonkey.

It is. The entire back of the cover, in fact, is done in the style of a comic book, complete with word and thought balloons and even a reference to the infamous interactive menus.

Yeah, methinks my DVD collection just wouldn't be complete without strongbad_email.exe Disc Five. I have every Homestar Runner-related DVD released to date, so not having this DVD just wouldn't make sense. I'm looking forward to a few of my fav emails including "death metal", "highschool", "candy product", "myths & legends", etc. And I'm really stoked for the audio commentary on each and every email. I always get a kick out of audio commentaries, and TBC never disappoint. The special features look kind of neato too, I'm intrigued by the 160 Seconds feature...

DVD UPDATE:

I still don't have the new Strong Bad Email DVD.

Urge to kill rising.

That's Very, Very Little Girl. She also makes a guest appearance in the bonus commentary for Road Trip (track 3), cuter than ever.
