Come the heck down! (and other link)

I think TBC spent too long working on that Non Sequitur Challenge thing... this is madness!

[edit] Added the poll that seems to be requisite on these threads...

"Three square meals a day!" And the menu behind Homestar were great.

Peacy P kinda creeped me out, though.

I liked it. It was just funny and i was glad to see peacy p in this one. ( by the way, i am the one responicibale for adding Blubb-o's Commerical to his apperances :-|) I also like how TBC aren't hitting us over the hit with sbemail after sbemail this year. Although i was kinda hoping for 1 this week, cause i sent him a really good one.

That was officially the funniest thing I have ever seen on HR.
Best parts:
Announcer: At Blubb-Os, all our vegetables are tossed through a refreshing cascade of water, and chopped in mid-air.
:coachz: Hey kids, I'm the Drive-Thru Whale! I'll chop off your legs! Sometimes it seems like your trying to go to prison, Coach Z.

And of course, the...harrowing Peacy P cameo.

Awesome, and surreal as heck - 5/5.

Yeah, but is it really isosceles? *insert mathematician rant/joke*
Product placement a la Peacey made me snort, but :bubs: just made my morning.

There's a reason why I made the Generic Announcers article - some of them are heard more than once, and this may be the 2nd instance we hear that announcer's voice (3rd instance we hear the voice if you count the questionable surgeon in MAM version 15.2). Yet there might have been other places where his voice was heard, like, maybe, oh, I don't know, The Show scene from email 136?

And another thing, The Cheat's right arm seems to be in the wrong position when he's handling the harpoon. Would that be a goof or a remark?

"I didn't even see Couch Z in that wale costume! Shoot him too!" :sb:

Fast food is the numba one thing to make fun of.

My favorite part... "Here at Blubb-O's we have all our fresh vegetables thrown through a refreshing cascade of water and chopped in mid-air."
Anyone who has seen too many fast-food commercials throughout the years would recognize those cliches.

In closing, Marzipan should REALLY save the Blubb-O whale. :marzi:

P.S. Oh snap Arkyopterix! You beat me to mentioning that part. :-|

The Announcer in this toon sounds vaguely like the King of Town to me - not that it's him, but they sound fairly similar.

While I wasn't paying as much attention as you people usually do, it sounded like "you have one eye" which would make sense considering how Bubs is drawn in that scene. I know that's not what was said, but my version was funnier to me.

This was epic. And Peacey P's support of the "Think n' Nasty" makes it epic.

Look at the menu! The ketchup packet price reminds me of how fast food places actually charge for condiments!

I really liked Coach Z trying to go to prison in the whale costume and the vegetables-through-the-waterfall. The rest of the toon didn't do a whole lot for me, though. ::shrug::

This was unique. The drive-thru whale alwyas cracked me up, so it's nice to see it again.

Best parts
the super fresh veggies cliche

TBC's notice of fast-food places hopelessly trying to compete with Starbucks

Marzi's protesting

"Coach Z, sometimes I think you're trying to go to prison."
"Hey, three square meals a day!" :coachz:

Doesn't the slight turning of the whole picture at the end of the short seem a bit unnecessary?

That was orr-some! the "premium" coffee, the vegetables, the "yeah harpoon him too!" and Peacey-P were laugh-so-hard-you-cough funny!
A+!

Mmm, Blubb-O's. I suddenly got a craving for a New Original burger with a side of Chipotle Potato Nudules...

This was an entertaining short that pretty much covered all the bases of fast-food commercial parodies, and introduced an element that's new to me: making fun of that one sandwich no one seems to buy (the Fillet-o-Fish-esque "Isosceles Fish Sandwich").

Did anyone think of Onion Bubs when you saw one of the onions go through the water?

I didn't crack even a smile watching this toon, although reading your comments made me laugh cause I didn't find the original execution so obviously funny. Who knows, I blame my sinus.

Yeah, they missed a little background joke there.

*onion get sliced in mid-air*
:bubs: (voice only) YEEEOOOOWW!

It was kind of a predictable cartoon to me. The Think 'N Nasty part caught me off guard, cause it put one image in my head, and then Peacy P reinforced the thought.

This and licensed were seriously the funniest things on Homestar in years.

Making fun of the McMocha= Brilliant!

I've laughed harder at other toons, but this one is probably one of the funniest to come out of Atlanta in recent times.

Well, you have to remember it's the same person doing all these voices. Some are bound to sound similar.

This was actually quite amusing, but I would like another SBEmail. The only Monday updates lately have been of not SBEmail, really. 5/5
