Burger King, just because their fries-from-France are better.

I would've voted Arby's if it had been on the list, but BK is good too.

Well, out of the ones you posted, I'd choose Wendy's. I know a lot of people don't really like it, but I think it's great. Taco Bell has its charms as well.

But my favourite (note the "u") is Harvey's. Only north of the border, folks! I worked there for 6 years and still can't get enough. Their burgers are char-grilled (and not like at BK - there's a really huge BBQ in the back) and are like burgers you'd buy at the store - none of these wimpy skinny burgers. It's more like real food than any other fast food place (save for Subway, but I think we're talking greasy-type places here), and, in my opinion, is superior to any other place.

Oh well. I think the Admins can change the poll, but if they don't, consider my spiritual vote to be with Arby's.

I love those curly fries.

Add'D! And I like Wendy's, too. Wendy's and McDonalds have great chicken sandwiches (although those "i'm lovin' it" commercials tend to get annoying).

I'm with you on this one.

But anymore I avoid the fast food. It just doesn't appeal to me anymore. I tend instead to go with the fast-casual places, like Quizno's, Pancheros (a midwest mexican chain; I'm told it's like Chipotle), Panera, etc. It's more expensive, but also much tastier and healthier.

Out of all those places I would say that my favorite is BK. Good fries.

For some reason that I've forgotten, I've boycotted McDonalds. Sure, not having this random pain in my heart is nice, but I sure miss the Big Mac.
As for the poll, I'll go with Taco Bell. It is pretty good, but this new place called "Mel's" has absolutely fantastic Mexican food (their vegetarian meal is called the "Angry Naked Man")

...3 years without crap in my arteries!!!

None of the above.

Harvey's for me. I don't eat much fast food, so the only two I go to are Harvey's and McDonald's. I only eat at McDonald's when I'm forced-I'm occasionally treated to a fast food lunch, and I usually opt for Harvey's, but my sister likes McDonald's. If it's a Tuesday, my mother forces me to go for a Big Mac. I prefer going to Harvey's, as the burgers taste better and I don't get as close to coronary bypass surgery.

Oh! When I visited San Diego I got the opportunity to eat at an In-N-Out Burger. OMGWTFBBQ that's the best fast food I've ever had. And cheap! Seriously, if you ever see one of those places, go.

Yeah, they have those out here in Pheeenix. Purty good, but they don't accept El Debit-o Card-o's.

Crap, crap on.

Has anybody ever tried Johnny Rocket's?

They're a 50's style burger joint with great burgers.

No, but have you been to Red Robin? It's not fast food, and it's a little expensive, but they have some seriously good burgers and other sammiches.

No, I never heard of Red Robin before, but then here in my boring corner of Pennsylvania we don't have anything good.
We just got our first Starbucks last year. Boy, were we excited.

Unofficial Northeast PA motto:

"If the world ends, come here, we're 15 years behind the rest of the world."

Also, have any of you tried Fuddrucker's?

I haven't, but it's supposed to be really good.

Yep, there used to be one right around me, and it was average, but after some.. [achem].. unpleasantness including underaged kids and alcohol serving, it got shut down.

I chose Taco Bell. It's not too bad. I also like BK for theit fries. But I try to stray away from them, I want to live past 50.

I hardly ever go out for fast food at any of those places. If I do, it would be at Togos or Subway. It kind of makes up for my lack of excersise.

I used to work at a KFC, so I'm not voting for them. You can only eat so much deep fried chicken!

So I vote for Burger King, but they call it Hungry Jack's here... dunno why!

I hate fast food. It's a pain to explain my order. Besides, I don't enjoy the atmosphere of the restaurants. Resentment from the workers, guilt from the consumers, and screeching from the playgrounds. If I have to pick a place, it would be Ye Old Sub Place. Except Subway, where they expect you to want spices you're alergic to.

I like Burger King, but the only one near me closed down and got turned into a Tim Hortons. As if we needed another Tim Hortons. We only have one on every other corner. Harveys is great too.

Is it another Canada-only type place?

It is a gigantic Canadian chain of coffee stores. They also sell soup and sandwiches and stuff. And I do mean they are HUGE. There are at least four within walking distance of my house.

well, I used to like McDonald's the most but now after every track meet (2-3 times a week) my team goes to Wendy's (he wants our team to be slower I guess). So I voted Wendy's. and I'm supposed to boycott bk right now http://www.mlive.com/news/grpress/index ... 213120.xml

Good fries, good shakes, good burgers.

I went there for my birthday this year.

Anyway, I don't usually go to fast food restaraunts. The only one to which I go is the occasional Taco Bueno. Sometimes we also go to Back Yard Burgers, but they're not fast food.

Also, I made a transcript of a prank call someone made to McDonald's:

Quote:
DID SOMEBODY SPRAY MCDONALDS?

McD: McDonalds.
Cal: Uh, could you tell me -- is this the McDonalds that the lady puked at earlier?
McD: I'm sorry?
Cal: The lady -- did she puke over there earlier? Is this the McDonalds?
McD: I'm not sure.
Cal: Did somebody spray McDonalds?
McD: I'm not sure, I just got here at 6.
Cal: Does it smell a little bit like puke around there? Around the counter?
McD: No.
Cal: Did you know somebody that would know that?
McD: Why, sir?
Cal: Because I wanted to sue one of them, and I wanted to find out which one it was, if it was independent or corporate.
McD: Oh, OK. Where was this?
Cal: I don't know. That's what I'm trying to figure out. She's at the hospital, all sick, because she had sprayed McDonalds. Someone didn't spray McDonalds?
McD: Nobody was here that I know of.
Cal: Did somebody spray McDonalds there?
McD: What are you talking about? I don't understand you. What did you say?
Cal: Did somebody spray McDonalds?
All right, well, thank you, then.

McD = McDonalds
Cal = Caller

A quick phone book check indicates that there are 21 Tim Horton's in Greater Sudbury. And that doesn't include the 2 kiosks on campus.

Our population is about 155,000. I think we hold the record for most Tim Horton's per capita. Mmm. Large double-double.

Never heard of it. We're not big on coffee around here.

One Starbucks, and it's struggling to survive.
