Strong Bad's 4th Compter

WHat do you think Strong Bad's 4th computer will be like, and when do you think it will "overtake" the Lappy? I think around email 240, Strong Bad will get a computer that isn't even invented now (Since email 240 is a long time from now) or maybe he'll steal Tangerine Dreams. Maybe the Lappy will be his last computer...

if he ever gets rid of the lappy, i'm predicting the Maccy, or a PDA of some kind.

I don't know what to expect from Strong Bad. Probably something real high tech. And it'll come in the 170's.

I don't know if he'll even get another computer. If he does, it'll probably be before 240. I have no clue what it could be, though. TBC are always ones to surprise us.

I don't imagine he'll be upgrading again anytime soon. He might, you never know. No one expected him to upgrade the Compy... or the Tandy, for that matter. It'd be cool if he used the Pom Pilot again though.

He's been following a fairly steady lineage of computer technology--just, he's like 10-20 years behind everyone else.

My guess is that his next computer will be some sort of Pentium-grade, or possibly marginally pre-Pentium, and not have any kind of O/S except some sort of DOS clone.

I don't think Strong Bad will ever use a hand-held on a regular basis. "How do you use a stylus while wearing boxing gloves?" just doesn't work.

He'll probably buy something real high-tech, and tell himself that he will figure it out. But he wouldn't be able to use it, and would have to get an older, slower computer.

Or maybe he'll get something real njhigh-tech that still uses commands things and can pretty much only check email. That'd be pretty cool.

For all I care, maybe even one of those phones that checks email. If not, then probably something pentium-based. Being on the older side of us forumgoers here, I remember the times when 100 Mhz was fast. Good times....

But yeah I could probably see like a Pentium 100 which he'd think "Whoa it has Intel Inside... now that's something!" Or... lol... a new Compy the Compy 100 - 100mhz of computing prower a Multimedia Supercomputer for the 90s!

I like the Lappy, it's kinda fun and sorta lets him get away from the basement, but I do sorta miss the Compy for some strange reason.

Although heh... I did name my new Laptop the Lappy P2 (since it's got a Pentium 2.. okay so I'm sorta Strong Badish in that I use an older computer and consider it 'new' but hey I paid less than $175 for it)

Or supliment the Lappy with the Celly or Palmy or something.

Perhaps one day he can check his text messages on his cell phone. Imagine how much of a pain it would be to type a reply. I don't imagine his boxing gloves would impair him anymore than they do when he's typing on a regular keyboard.

I was surprised they hopped to the Lappy as quickly as they did. We didn't get an interim email like "weird dreams" between Tandy and Compy.

Anyway, I don't think we'll get a new computer for a while. How many years long was the Compy's reign? And that was a lot longer than the Tandy's, and was only stopped because the virus email happened. I could see SB taking the Cheat's iMac, though. Not buying it, just taking it. Meanwhile, Da Cheese upgrades to a G5 or somesuch.

Hmmmm... If he gets another computer, I'd say it would be a flat screen, clicking based thing. But he'd type in "strongbademail.exe" for fun. Or for his like... email name.

Hey, you never know. Email 150's around the corner. Or, maybe we'll be waiting a while.

I think it might be a little early to speculate about this, but I think it would be a high tech supercomputer that costs up $2000 and has everything he needs in it. But, it ends up not working right and Strongbad destroys it to get another computer.

Yes, this will never happen, but I still like to imagine things

He can't use the Tandy, the King of Town has it. And remember, it wouldn't check the KOT's email for some reason. Besides, Tandy hates Strongbad now.

The replacing computers thing has happened twice now.
If they do it again, it will be really gimmicky.
And that would be the last thing TBC want: to be gimmicky.

Very true, but I think that in the end TBC will eventually replace the Lappy. It might be one of those like..Windows 98' computers that are touch screen...and theres like a keyboard on the screen. But I doubt even Strong Bad will go that high-tech.

Ya...I too miss the Compy.

i think his lappy is gonna get run over by a car or something. Then it'll be replaced with a quick little deal like one of those todler fischer-price learning computers. Then he's gonna get some thing in the realm of a pentium.

I don;t think there are any roads in Free Country USA. Maybe Homsar in a tractor, though.
