Looks like TBC are keeping up the same frenetic pacing of "Pop-up".

My first post.

Possibly one of the most disturbing Homestar Runner outfits ever. And I love the Rex Reed / Mary Worth / Lichtenstein panels.

"Sea turtles eat a wide variety of food."

Ah, randomness.

I think my favorite emails all involve Homestar being completely bizarre or creepy. Or Homsar. So yes, it's a good one.

It's a good SBemail. Poor The Cheat.

That was okay. The Cheat in the Dryer and Marzipan scenes were the best parts. Plus the printer was seen again! All in all, not too bad, and one step closer to 150!

bleh. The only part I liked was the comic book styles. And I've never even read that kind of comic so that's really weird. D+.

Hmm... I didn't find this one too great. It was alright, but I don't particularly want to remember The Cheat throwing up, Marzipan's craft project or Homestar's disturbing workout routine. The comic strip was funny (I liked the unexpectedly random "sea turtles" panel), as was the appearance of the BMW Lighter, but overall, it was a little ehh. B-

That was funny.
"PYROTECHNICS!!"

I loved it.

Did anyone else think about Beavis and Butthead when The Cheat puked in the dryer? There was an episode where they washed a poodle and put it in the dryer. Then they jumped in the dryer. They took the dog back to the lady, and, well, it smelled worse than it did when they left with it.

PYROTECHNICS!

I kinda thought The Cheat would explode. Thanks for something different. :-)

This one was pretty good, I liked the bit with the soap-opera style comic, and you can never go wrong with lighting stuff on fire. PYROTECHNICS!
Homestar excersising is kinda disturbing, though.

Crap, I'm in school and they block homestar where I am at the moment.

*runs home and watches it and gets suspended*

Hilarious.

PYROTECHNICS! FOOOOOSH!

However, I was kinda dissappointed that SB couldn't even manage one push up. Even I can do, like, ten. Or more. Tons more! Homestar's Wretched Simmons outfit just disturbed the crap outta me.

Favorite line: I'll buy you a new yoga DVD!

That was great. And didn't seem too short, as many recent emails have felt to me.

My favorite part had to be the shokingly fluffy The Cheat scene. The comic and push-up parts were great as well.

I wonder if Buck's lady fan is pleased now.

THAT was pwnsome. Very, very funny. High points:

-"I'll buy you a new Yoga DVD!"
-Fluffy The Cheat (Awwww!)
-"Man, use a dryer sheet or something!"
-Homestar's excersize craze (Man, that outfit was so disturbing it was hilarious. XD)
-Torched Marzipan (For some reason, I just found that hilarious. XD)

I liked that one! I'd say it's the second-best SBEmail in this era of time, which I like to call "The Great SBEmail Rush of '06". I think that the best email in the SBEmail Rush so far has been Myths & Legends, followed by this one.

We actually got to see the printer!

My favourite part was Marzipan's not-all-too-impressed expression after being torched by Strong Bad.

Not my favorite EVER, but I definitely loved Homestar as Wretched Simmons. I think TBC should actually make a workout video now. Would that be selling out?

Pretty good one, I liked the randomness of it. :) "Wretched Simmons" Homestar was GREAT. XD Slightly creepy, yes, but still hilarious. :P The random comic-strip panels were pretty amusing too, as was Marzipan getting torched. "You're a horse's twees." :D

That was an okay email, I got a few laughs out of it. Most notable was the fluffy, nauseous cheat and Strong Bads PYROTECHNICS!!!

Doesn't anyone appreciate Marzipan's quotes at all? She usually says some of the funniest stuff in the toons and e-mails. This one is no exception.

"junk mail and kitty litter"
"snip-sniparooskies"
"You're a horse's twees"

Of course the other highlights were:
Strong bad getting shocked
PYROTECHNICS! followed by a blackened marzipan
Homestar - Twees it out!

Buttweesimo...

It was pretty funny, especially Homestar working out.

While I did find it pretty entertaining, I wouldn't say this email is the best way to get a non-SBEmail viewer to start liking the series. I have quite a few friends who never got into it because it is rife with inside jokes that they wouldn't understand unless they watched every single email from start to finish. The "First Time Here?" video is a fairly decent introduction to the website, but SBEmail definitely needs some getting used to. Let's hope the Lady Fan will watch "dragon" or "japanese cartoon" instead...

Good point. The 'horse's tweez' jab is probably one of the best quotes I've heard on the website.

A pretty good e-mail, on the order of a 6.7/10, but the Marzipan segment gets it a full point for sheer awesome. 7.7/10.

Nothing too special here. I laughed at "drop her like a trig class" because I dropped Trig this semester. You know an email is subpar when the funniest part involves Marsipan. Other than that, it feel spiritless. TBC needs to slow down their sbemails' pace.

9/10. Homestar and The Cheat were the best parts.

That email was kinda... gross. That outfit that Homestar was wearing? Ick. The Cheat throwing up wasn't desired, either. And to top it all off: Kitty litter. Thankfully, those melodramatic comic frames made up for it. Also, you gotta like Strong Bad lighting stuff on fire.

Hehe, horse's twees. That's worth a half point.

3.5/5
