The word "one-up" has another definition besides "Stinko Man's sidekick". It also means outdoing people. For example:

-"I worked out for an hour today."
-"I worked out for SIX hours!"

So, in this game, you have to one-up the post above you, & try to end the "chain" of one-uppings. If no one can top what you said, you can start a new chain. Here's a sample chain"

-I got a new shirt.
-I got a new hoodie!
-I got a new suit!
-I got a new robot suit!
-I got a new mecha!
-I got my own planet!
-I got my own universe!

The last person clearly wins, so a new chain starts. And away we go:

I'm skinny.

I'm going to wreck the society the anti-corn rebels have built.. with corn! You know, like, corn guns.

This reminds me of the game we had before where you have to make your situation look worse, like "I have no House", then "I have no land", "I don't even know what a house or a plot of land is".

Pretty similar.
