This improv game show is a parody of Wheel of Fortune. If you've never played or watched Wheel of Fortune, then read the rules at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wheel_Of_Fortune#Gameplay

I need four people for this game. To sign up, say "/in" or somesuch in this thread, AND Private Message me a fake Wheel of Fortune puzzle. You may use any category you'd like, even a completely made up category. Examples:

Fictional Thing: HUMOR IN THE STRONG BAD EMAIL TAPE LEG
Pithy Saying: A FEW VERMIN SHORT OF A PLAGUE
What I'm Thinking Right Now: ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

I will pick the funniest puzzle, and whoever sent that puzzle gets to be in the audience. The other three people are contestants.

After every contestant has introduced himself or herself, the game will begin. Your secondary goal is to solve the puzzle during your turn and win big money and big prizes, but your primary goal is to BE FUNNY AND COMPLETELY RANDOM. :-)

On your turn, you may spin the wheel, buy a vowel, or attempt to solve the puzzle. However, the rules are subject to weird changes as we go along, and I will be adding some unusual spaces to the wheel. You'll see.

For an example of gameplay, check out the original game on the ID2 forums: http://s6.invisionfree.com/Insert_Disc_ ... owtopic=85

Oh, and if you don't want to be in the contestant, you can still be in the audience. We need a big audience. :)

Episode 1 Contestants:
Badri3211
buhubs
IantheGecko

Winning puzzle submitter: Ju Ju Master

Fake big money, fake big prizes, you know. Anything that's in the standard forum game prize budget. :)

Okie-dokie! Four players!

ianthegecko has sent his puzzle. Badri3211, Ju Ju Master, and buhubs, please click here to PM me your puzzles, and once I have all four, I'll select one for our game. Submit a puzzle, or be FLAMETHROWER'D!

All right, you guys! I have selected a puzzle, and whoever isn't called on to be a contestant is the person whose puzzle got picked!

============================================

"From Sewn E Pictures Studio, it's HRWiki's game! WHEEL. . . OF. . . DOLLARS!"

Hello, everyone! I am your host who doesn't have a name, so please don't refer to me by a name, because I don't have one. Today, three contestants will be playing for a chance to win a lot of DOLLARS and PRIZES! We hope that this game is full of excitement and intrigue and all that other stuff.

Contestant number one is Badri3211 from Location: Michigan. Badri, tell us more about yourself so our audience will know whether to root for you, or to shout "BANKRUPT, Y0!" every time you spin.

Uh, ok. I am from Michigan. I'm 19 years old and a male who loves this forum as well as the characters such as :pom: , :poop: , :hr: , :sb: etc. I have 100 posts and willing to get more. So this game will be awesome once it is first started.

Uh, mathgrant, should I spin the wheel.

Wow! How do people pronounce things like ":sb:" and ":hr:"? It's like all the stories on Lemmy's Land where one character says "..." and another character wonders how one is supposed to pronounce "...", and the first guy just says "..." again. It's a running gag.

Don't spin yet, Badri! We've got two other contestants who need to introduce themselves to our audience! They want to win some dollars, too. Contestant number 2 is some guy named buhubs. As with Badri, I politely ask you for an introduction so our audience will be able to make an informed decision on whether to react to your Bankrupts with an "Awwwww. . ." or a "YEAH! WOO-HOO!!!!!"

Well, this is the guy buhubs speaking, I don't have much to say except that I'm a young thesbian/artist. Who dreams to have a forum topic of his strike a chord with people!

Having dreams is nice. I have dreams a lot. They're usually about angry audience members throwing overripe tomatoes at me.

And our final contestant this evening is ianthegecko from Location: Colorado. What's your introduction, Ian?

Now, THAT'S what we like to see! The audience throwing stuff at and interacting with the players! If you in the home audience want to participate in the madness, too, just throw a brick at your TV screen! (Disclaimer: only do this if you never want to watch TV again)

Now, before we can begin the game, we have to honor the time-honored tradition of. . . THE RANDOM AUDIENCE MEMBER ADDING A RANDOM PRIZE TO THE WHEEL! Let's pull out the random audience member-choosing machine!

*A huge sheet of paper and a Sharpie are carted on over to where mathgrant is standing*

Now, I'll just keep drawing random scribbles until they look like a name.

*draws the word "Peary"*

Hmm. . . "Peary". . . well, there's no one in the audience named Peary, so clearly it's referring to someone who threw a pear. . . Ju Ju Master! You're the audience member! YOU get to add a random prize to the wheel! Or, in Soviet Russia, a random prize gets to add YOU to the wheel! What is that random prize?

This is an honor I'm proud to have.

Wait, no it's not..

Well, anyways [s]Kent[/s] mathgrant, I think a suitable prize would be a years supply of... guitars. A years supply of guitars.

Ooh. That's an awesome prize. I don't know how much it's worth, but it's probably a lot, right? So get crackin', players! We've got some dollars and guitars to win!

The category for this game is SIDE EFFECTS MAY INCLUDE. . . . *puzzle appearing on the board sounds*

SIDE EFFECTS MAY INCLUDE. . . || *******-******* ********** || Used:
Badri3211: 0 dollars
buhubs: 0 dollars
ianthegecko: 0 dollars

Badri, NOW you may spin.

That guy with the awesome Typhlosion avatar wrote:
Badri, NOW you may spin.

Pay attention, audience guy.

And sInce when did we throw Japanese comics at our unlikeable contestants, anyhow? And besides that, I think throwing the entire series was uncalled for.

*stagehand whispers in ear*

OH! Fruit basket, not Fruits Basket. I get the two mixed up sometimes. Like now.

*BRRRROOO-taka-taka-taka-taka-taka-taka-taka. . .*

You landed on $74. That's what I call dollars! But not what I call guitars. Guess a consonant now.
