It's some new short thing. Seems very random and... weird.

Wikilink! Actual thing!

I was a bit confused on my first watching, but I really liked the references to Homestar Talker and Dancin' Bubs. And how Homestar popped out of Strong Sad's covers. After a few more watchings I'll probably be able to make more sense of it.

EDIT: After rewatching it, I have changed my opinion on the short.

I love this one, especially the references to the Homestar Talker and Dancin' Bubs games. The scene with Homestar and Strongsad was creepy, and Free Country USA looks more like "Wood World" now.

Good prize! *ding*

Liked the shout-outs to 2001, and Homestar's really, REALLY, over-the-top sarcasm towards ol' Coach Z.

I sort of liked this one. What did it for me was when they went back to their 2001-selves. And what the heck did they end up building, a wooden pasture? I'd give this one a B-/C+, but it's always good to see a new update.

Woo, new toon! I so prefer toons to emails.

:bubs: Galvanized nails, eh? Sounds legit! We can chill on it and drink melonade all summer long!
:hr: Yeah, melonade. We haven't talked that much lately. Maybe we can eat marshmallows too!

And the return of cardboard Marzipan was great!
:hr: Galvanized, galvanized, galvanized, that's what I always say!
:marzi: Homestar, are you using galvanized nails to hide the fact that you don't know how to build a deck?
:hr: I'm going to have to get back to you on that PYOW!...Let's try that again...PYOW!

The bit with Strong Sad was a tad creepy, however.

I really liked that one. Coach Z was great when he appeared, that was probably my favorite part. The way he said "Myorsical" and his comment on tony awards were great. The reappearence of Cardboard Marzipan was cool, too.

I lol'd at Homestar suddenly turning into the old version of himself. :P That was... unexpected. The Strong Sad part was... REALLY creepy. XD; I loved SS's line there though. And the little montage while Homestar was building the deck. And the whole Coach Z bit. "But what about my four Tony awards?"

I'm glad we're getting stuff other than just emails too... it's nice to see some of the OTHER characters in the spotlight for once. Homestar needs to be around more, considering the site's kind of NAMED after him and all :P

Hooray for Cardboard Marzipan!

WOOT!! New toon! I really liked this one. Especialy the return of cardbord marzipan. Even better it fetured all of the underdeveloped characters, Coch Z, Bubs, Cardbored Marzi(already mentiond), and especialy Homestar!!!!!!! Homestar finally is getting his site back from Strong Bad! Favorite line: "Heres to galvanized nails and cardbord females!"

Normaly I'd use this part of my post to talk about what was wrong with the toon, but I can't think of anything wrong with it. So I'll leave that part to you.

This is now one of my new favorite toons.

The completely random plot, Homestarrunner being the main protagonist instead of Strong Bad, the old 2001 memories moment, Homestar popping into Strong Sad's bed, and my favorite.

The mentioning of Wikipedia.

My final rating: 13/13

Holy crap! This is the first toon in forever that doesn't have Strogn Bad in it in any way shape or form!

Homestar= even more than before: my favorite character.

I absolutely love this toon.

:coachz: "Oh where is my mother?"

cardboard :marzi: Are you using galvanized nails to hide the fact that you don't know how to build a deck?

:hr: "I'm not really sure how I got in here"
Rofl.

The marshmallow stand, The melonade, the bubs, the Cheat. everything.

I watched it thrice and once upside-down.

Aha! Not a sbemail! My friend owes me 5 bucks!!!

I was getting quite tired of Strongbad, and Homestar is the main character, so it was gooooooooooooooooood to see this.

But why wasn't it under "Big Toons"? When I saw "New short toon", I thought it was gonna be 2 minutes o' crap. But I got 3 minutes of hilarity and awesomeness!!!!

This was one weird toon. I liked the trowbacks to the older stuff, and the scene with Syrong Sad was great. Easily the best line is Strong Sad's "I have GOT to get my prescription changed!"

This short was solid.

Quote:
BUBS: Well, I'm impressed, Homestar. When you said you were building a deck, I figured it would end up being something stupid and terrible. You know, 'cause you were building it.

HOMESTAR RUNNER: Yeah, me too!

My only complaint is that there wasn't a single easter egg. Ah well. Maybe it didn't need one.

I love randomness if it's done correctly, and THIS was done correctly.

It's one of my new favorites, especially because of the end.

Did anyone else think that Homestar popping up from underneath Strong Sad's bedsheet was a reference to The Grudge? It's not mentioned on the Wiki page...it'd be a loose and questionable reference at best, but I still think it's worth mentioning.

Not too bad a toon, overall I give it a 6.5/10.

I thought it was hysterical, I mean, how can a cartoon with Coach Z trying to say musical be bad? Homestar's head transforming was completely unexpected, and Strong Sad's line will most likely be sigged by me.

Verrry strange. Solid, but not too too funny. I did, however, like the old-school throwbacks, and of course, Homestar just randomly showing up under SS's blanket.

Other than that, though, it was only just OK.

Great toon! Completely random and crazy, as Homestar should be. :)

I loved it! Such a bizarre little short, too.
My favorite part (to echo many others) was his morph back into old-school H*R.

Awesome toon. Old Homestar, Dancin' Bubs, and Strong Sad in bed. Loved the Easter Egg.
I give it something out of something else.
Something/Something Else

Great toon! and no Strong Bad (unless i missed something). Liked the references to Dancin' Bubs and the wikipedia. It gets 7 Tacos and a box of oranges outta 10. :)

Have we basically now established that H*R and Marzipan have split up?

Is the tube-feeding comment at the beginning a reference to that Bonzai Cats nonsense?

I thought they broke up again at first, but Homestar does seem to use the cardboard Marzi during the summer, so maybe she's out of town again.

This is definately my new favorite. Like, more than anything. I give it 3 Senors, 1 smiley, and 2 homsars out of 2 Eh Steves and 10 Trogdors. Which is 10/10.

:senor: :senor: :senor: :) :homsar: :homsar: / :ehsteve: :ehsteve: :trogdor: :trogdor: :trogdor: :trogdor: :trogdor: :trogdor: :trogdor: :trogdor: :trogdor: :trogdor: (10/10)

EDIT: Anyone notice the big cube in the middle of the field at the end? Should we say that it might be the pool?
