Hey, guys! Did anyone actually figure it out? We left a couple of clues for those who could catch them…

1. My forumday just happened to be the next day
2. I was banned over something completely trivial
3. Guest posting suddenly allowed in Off-Subject Discussion!?!

I’m sure some of you had your doubts, and I want to apologize to anyone who was truly offended by this charade – we weren’t trying to be mean to you guys, we were just trying to pwn you! Speaking of which, next time someone pulls a stunt like this, please don’t be such drama queens over it… I’m not talking to all of you on this, but you know who you are.

This is how it started: about a week ago, I decided that for my forumday, I would post a big, grand leaving-for-good message and triumphantly return the next day. But the whole Alexander issue started just between then and now, and when I talked to Seethroo on Gabbly, he vetoed it.

BUT…

He suggested something even better: he would ban me for something trivial, and turn everyone on the forum against him! We set it up, and executed it last night… and you saw what happened.

As you can see…
1. The triple-post was planned
2. I was banned, but not permanently nor seriously
3. The freaking out in the Making An Example thread was planned, down to the censors and everything
4. Seethroo’s powers weren’t revoked (HE CAN STILL BAN J00)
5. And I definitely was not serious when I said I was leaving for good

So, I’d like to thank everyone who believed the farce and isn’t mad, everyone who believed the farce and IS mad, everyone who never believed the farce and thinks I’m an idiot, and the mods and admins who let me and Seethroo do this. Also thanks to everyone who emailed me (Exhibit A, Homeschool, Ninti). And thanks to the few of you who made the comments about me being the “heart of the forum” and other such nonsense… not true at all, but it made me feel good.

Anyway, I think most of you can say that you were all very successfully…

I think we've all learned something. This forum has a ton of drama queens.

People, honestly. Would Seethroo really do something like that? No. You guys know him better than that.

It's true. I was in on it. Stu let me know about the whole plot after Teff had been "banned" and I had gotten bent out of shape about it.

The plan was to have Teff banned, then I guess perhaps I was supposed to step up and "lead the rebels", or just ignite the revolt. It didn't quite work out that way. A lot of people decided to not take a side, and stand by and watch. Since I couldn't seem to rally you guys around me, I just acted the stereotypical angry person. Until the end, where I gave up on it.

For those of you on Gabbly, Jesty actually let it slip, too. You guys were just too excited to notice.

I'm on a sports board that had a prank last summer... during the time when everyone is starved for sports information (July, August) some board members started posting rumors that a big time football player was transferring to a local school. Everyone was up in arms when it was revealed, two weeks later, to be a hoax. People cancelled vacations so as not to miss the "announcement".

Whoa. Just whoa. I nearly crapped my pants when I read this. If only I had remembered my forumday (2 weeks ago,) then I could've done something like this.
