I know that many people don't want to let too much on about themself, but i think that a gender and age spot on profiles would be helpful. I mean, it's kind of nice to know that stuff when your talking to somebody. We have 40 year olds and 10 year old, and obviously we have both boys and girls. Maybe you disagree, but I think it would help my mental images of people...

Well, the gender thing was discussed right here. As for age, this is the first motion as far as I can see.

It really doesn't matter to me. It'd be a nice feature, but it's not like I'm going to lobby incredibly hard for it.

If you really want to do something about it then you can make use of my Gender Badges, T.TSL. Just look in the arts and crafts section. You might need to go a couple pages back though. Just remember to choose one of the correct procedures based on the 500X100pixel signature rule.

I was aiming for either not needing the Admins to do something about it or to make a collective voice of the people that the Admins couldn't overlook. Unfortunately, my mission seems to have failed. It didn't catch on with as many people as I had hoped so niether goal was achieved.

One theory of mine is that the moderators and administrators think it's kind of funny whenever someone mistakes a guy for a girl or vise versa. But this is merely speculation so I wouldn't give that theory much credibility.

Sounds pretty good. Although it should also be possible to choose not to answer.
