It's the big question on everyone's lips.....

WHO'S GUNNA WIN THE SUPERBOWL?
I say it'll be the Steelers. Jerome Bettis can find the space to score and Roethlisbergr (Is that how you spell it?) can pick out a great pass a mile away. They'll be too much for Sean Alexander and Co. But, Seattle's playoff period has been great and you can't deny a team playing for their first title.

What do you think?

The Pats will come in with helicopters! and start shooting everybody! and then....

Ya, that'll never happen.

I say Steelers.

I vote the Seahawks.

It's hilarious to me that everyone counted the Steelers out during their entire playoff run, and now all of a sudden in the Super Bowl they're favored to win. Two words: BANDWAGON. JUMPING. ;)

I want the Steelers to win, because I would like to Jerome Bettis go out as a champion.

I'm note sure. It'll be a great game to watch, but I think The Steelers will come out victorious.

Ya know, the sad thing about that is I think they might do it. I HATE THE PATS!!! I think the Seahawks will win. It would be great for Jerome Bettis to win the big one, but I think the Seahawks will win.

Quiet! You'll ruin the plan!

As I've stated before, I absolutely detest the Steelers. So I'm rooting Seahawks.

Oh, and Kevin DuBrow...

PATS RULE!

Man, I used to think you were cool. The Steelers should never be detested, and the Patriots are the awfully close to userping the Cowboys spot as the lamest football team ever, and they most certainly do not rule.

Anyway, the Steelers are going to win this game, no question in my mind. The Seahawks are definetely a great team, but Shawn Alexander won't be able to have a good game against the Steelers defense, and Matt Hasselbeck and the Seahawks wide receiver core can't win the game by themselves. 28 to 20, Steelers.

By the way, Ace, how long have you been a Partiots fan?

By the way, Ace, how long have you been a Patriots fan?

That still doesn't change my opinion about you. You're still a cool guy.

The reason I hate the Steelers is that they really have no idea how to keep their mouths shut. They jaw away and don't care. That's exactly why I hate the Oakland Raiders, too. You might think the Pats are lame, but I'm willing to bet you base that on the fact that the Pats have beaten the Steelers the last couple of times they've played them, including the AFC Championship. Give me a couple of reasons why you think the Patriots are lame (That aren't that) and I'll be able to understand more.

My entire life. Are you suggesting I'm a bandwagon person? I've stuck through the Pats through everything, including that horrendous loss to Green Bay in the Super Bowl.

Alrighty, let's see here... in response to your first comment, do you mean the Steelers players jaw away, or the Steelers fans? Because I don't think the Steelers players really ever jaw off, except maybe Joey Porter sometimes. And lame probably wasn't the right word to use. I think I just never really like teams that do really well for periods of time, I didn't like the Rams when they went to two Super Bowls in three years, and I don't like the Patriots... and I guess I do hold a grudge against them for beating the Steelers last year.

Secondly of all, I do believe that the Steelers are going to win this game, but I wasn't trying to gloat when I said that, and the Seahawks are going to be really hard to beat. I just said that because I have faith in my team.

Thirdley-est of all, if you've been a Patriots fan all your life, I can respect that a lot more, now that I know that you didn't just cling on to them when they got good. If they've always been your favorite team, then that's respectable.

Oh, and that saying it twice thing... it was a mistake. :S

Of course, you're forgetting that just a couple of years ago, the team was content with letting the world know they had already made their reservations to go to the Super Bowl, before they had played the AFC championship. Not to mention their whining after they lost because "The best team didn't win". Now, before I come off as accusing the entire team, I do like some of their players, like Roffleburger and The Bus, because they're classy guys who know not to let confidence and know not to let their mouths run away.

For the most part, the fans jaw away a lot too, but I guess that boils down to love for their team.

Fair enough, I guess. Of course, you have to remember the Steelers winning a couple of years in a row when Bradshaw was around.

That's what I had thought, but I want to stress that you don't become a stereotypical Steelers fan and let your mouth and not your brain speak.

Well all right! Yeah, I'm not a bandwagon person. As I'm sure you've been a Steelers fan your entire life, I've been a Pats fan since I knew what football was.

Okay, hopefully that cleared it up. I don't want to keep getting into arguments, you know? Maybe we'll find a way to co-exist. But I'm still rooting for Seattle. :P

This is interesting... as is this...

I think the Panthers are going to win.

...

Er, Steelers. I mean Steelers.

Acertron: I wasn't alive when the Steelers last won a Super Bowl. And seeing as I've lived in South Carolina for thirteen years, I'm pretty much a major Panthers fan too. Don't starting hitting me. With your knives.

I really can't decide upon this. The Steelers and Seahawks seem equaled.

*Hits Teff with a knife*

:p

Anyway, I'm thinking that the MVP will be Ben Roethlisberger, but I think Hines Ward has a shot.

The only person here who was alive when the Steelers won their last Championship was Didymus.

Really? I thought we had a few more folks here who are older than 26...

Wrong. January 20, 1980 was the date of that last Super Bowl title, and that would put me at almost 4 months old then.

Technically, it doesn't matter... considering you only specified "alive"...

Dag, yo. Steeler's one. At least that retiring dude gets a superbowl ring in his hometown.

Some of the commericals were awesome, too.

Yeah, this game wasn't as close as I thought it was going to be. That Randle El pass was nice though, near perfect spiral.
